Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday barn in Cley next the Sea - Manor House Barn

Refurbished barn, luxurious and spacious, sleeps 7, North Norfolk character

Set within the grounds of The Old Manor House, this newly refurbished brick and flint Barn offers the desirable combination of spacious and luxurious accommodation, with a central location in Cley Next the Sea. Full of character, it comprises 2 generous double rooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with an adjoining family room. Sleeping up to 3 people, the family room is highly suitable for children. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with integrated shower, washbasin and WC. High grade, Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are provided.

The main living/dining area is spacious, with a comfortable seating area and log burner, free-view, flat screen TV and DVD player. One wall is almost entirely book-lined and includes a selection of DVDs. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. Outside there is an attractive garden area, with a BBQ provided in the summer months. There is parking directly outside the barn. Sorry no pets or smoking.

Manor House Barn is centrally located within the picturesque, coastal village of Cley-Next-the-Sea. Generally regarded as a gem of the North Norfolk coast, Cley village has much to offer visitors, who often return year-after-year to enjoy its many delights.

Once in Cley, there is a wide range of distractions all within easy walking distance. You could stroll to the beach, accessed via the marshes, and watch the sea fishing or simply enjoy a walk along the shingle. Alternatively the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitors centre is nearby and is the perfect place from which to take in Cley's famous marshes and bird watching facilities.

Within Cley village itself, you can lose yourself amongst its charming shops, pubs and restaurants. These include:

The award winning Picnic Fayre Delicatessen

Cley Smoke House – with its truly mouth-watering selection of fish

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property - easy access, lovely environment and ideal for Cley and all parts nearby!
We stayed from 8 - 12th June 2013 but the date wouldn't let us enter it.

Owner's Response: I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the positive feedback! We're always aiming to make the barn a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests - indeed the benchmark is to make it the kind of place we would like to stay ourselves. I'm so glad you enjoyed the barn's picturesque location - and the incredible clarity of the stars is a phenomenon that always surprises people! We encourage all our guests to seek out the many excellent pubs and restaurants close by - of which The Wiveton Bell and Wiveton Cafe are highly recommended. In addition, The White Horse in Blakeney, The Kings Head in Leatheringsett and Byfords in Holt are all well worth a visit. Plus of course a trip to Cley beach at night to gaze at the amazing North Norfolk sky!
