A stunning house and apartment are available, either separately or together, in the beautiful village of Deya.Each is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and has air conditioning, heating and satellite television and Broadband WiFi. Deya (also spelt Deia) is an ideal location for your time, whether long or short, in Mallorca, in this much sought-after locality. Clients comments, photos & information are on our website. Located opposite the famous Hotel Residencia, and four minute's walk away from the village, each property has wonderful views of the mountains and the village. Deya is a walker's and climber's paradise and Deya beach (or 'cala') is a fifteen minute walk away through olive groves and pine woods. Other amenities nearby include galleries, concerts, golf, beaches, tennis, sailing, windsurfing and diving. Soller and Valldemossa are each 15 minutes drive away, Palma & the airport are 40 minutes away, and there is an excellent bus & inexpensive taxis service

Deya is probably the most beautiful village in Mallorca. On the spectacular North West coast, the village is situated between the mountains and the sea. These charming properties, each with spectacular views, are available to rent for long or short periods throughout the year. In this part of Mallorca a car is an asset but, for those who do not want to drive, there is an excellent bus service several times a day and taxis are inexpensive.

The apartment, Ca'n Tramontana, and the house, Casa Serena, are available on their own or together. Just a few metres apart, the two properties together would be ideal for a larger group or families who would like to travel together. Son Canals is a small development, newly built to the highest standard, and just 50 metres from the Residencia Hotel and less than 5 minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in Deya. A free to play tennis court is close by. Tennis lessons for adults or children can be arranged with an excellent professional tennis coach. The charming and unspoilt village of Deya has an excellent, well stocked small supermarket, an English speaking chemist and a bank with cash point. For peace of mind, there is a doctor/nurse surgery on weekdays and a 24 hour emergency service 8 km away in Soller.

Although mostly thought of as a summer holiday destination, Mallorca enjoys a wonderful climate throughout the year with few rainy or cold periods. These properties make an excellent base, winter or summer. Special rates can apply for bookings for more than 2 weeks.

C'an Tramontana is a new apartment within five minutes walk of the centre of Deia. The sitting room and master bedroom both open out on to the terrace from which, looking south, you can see the village and the dramatic, pine covered mountains behind it. Looking west you can see the church on top of the hill, and the terraces with olive trees leading up to it (see 'More photos' for pictures of these views). Inside, the high ceilings and exposed beams give a feeling of light and space. The double bedroom has a king size bed (1.5 metres x 2 metres). The apartment has both air conditioning and heating, the latter making it suitable for the winter and autumn, the best time for bird watchers, walkers and painters. As good as it looks in the pictures!

A really beautiful apartment - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, and manages to combine that with a home-from-home feeling (perhaps something to do with the IKEA furnishings !). Close to village centre and grocery store, so self-catering in the well-appointed kitchen no problem. Since Deia fairly expensive for eating out, this is a good thing. Lovely village and beautiful area, tho' more for exploring mountains, villages, than for lazing on a beach - Cala Deia small and gets crowded. Would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for getting out and about on the island.

Deya is on the north west coast of Mallorca, situated between the imposing Tramontana mountain range and the sea. Palma and the airport are 40 km (25 miles) away, the port of Soller and Valldemossa are each 15 minutes away. The house and apartment are within 5 minutes walk of Deya shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and art galleries. The Robert Graves Museum, formally the house and garden where the writer and poet lived for much of his life, is 10 minutes walk from the village.

Other Activities: Art galleries and classical music concerts in the Archduke's palace, overlooking the sea.

Golf: Son Canals makes an excellent base for golfers. Mallorca now has approximately 20 excellent golf clubs, some, including the new Son Vida course, are about 45 minute drive while Son Termens Golf Club is only 30 minutes drive away.
