Tastefully appointed two-bedroom house in desirable tree lined neighborhood, one block from McKinley Park. It includes one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a 2nd bedroom with a comfortable twin sleeper sofa and TV, bathroom with bath and shower, washer-dryer, kitchen dining room, living room with queen sleeper sofa, large flat screen TV and many other amenities. In the backyard, a mature oak tree veils a sweet patio garden that includes a dining table and chaise lounge.
Great location! Walk to McKinley Park, one of Sacramento's premier urban parks with a 1.5 acre rose garden, a beautiful newly restored children's playground, duck pond, tennis courts, swimming pool, library and a walking/jogging trail. An array of activities such as yoga and other classes are offered on a regular basis.
Several excellent restaurants nearby, close to downtown Sacramento, the State Capitol, Sacramento State University, UC Davis Medical Center and Cal Expo... all with easy freeway access from the house.
Just concluded a one week stay and it was wonderful. Great house, super location, and it had all the necessary amenities we needed. Absolutely no problems with checking in or out or communication with the owner. Easy access to I-80 and thus freeway connections within Sacramento. When we return to Sacramento we intend to stay here again.
Great little house with all you could ask for, in a very quiet location but well placed for the downtown inc Railroad and Automobile museums, Sutter Fort etc and for the Interstate. Beautifully mainatined / restored and a great kitchen. And thankfully, very effective aircon!
Clean, comfortable, convenient. We had a relaxing stay!
We so very much enjoyed our stay and plan to rent the home every time we come out to visit our family in Sacramento
The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location near the park and easy highway access. Neighborhood is quiet. Many nice amenities in the house and very spacious. Great outdoor space that's private. Would stay there again. Thank you Nancy for your hospitality!
My son is attending Sacramento State in the fall and we needed to find a place to stay for orientation and I knew I didn't want to stay in a hotel. I searched and found this lovely, adorable little home. As we drove down the street, I was enthralled by the HUGE shade trees and I knew the house was going to be perfect! The little bungalow was decorated very tastefully and there was nothing that was lacking. There were 4 of us and the beds were all very comfortable, even the couch wasn't bad to sleep on. The kitchen was fully stocked for our own cooking and the full laundry was nice also. The back patio was nice and shaded with a table and some chairs with one lounger. It would have been nice to have another lounger so more than one person could fully enjoy kicking back under the shade of the trees. The location to the park was great for an early morning walk and it wasn't too far from the campus either. I am sure we will be staying here again to visit our son at Sac State.
