WALK DOWNTOWN FROM OUR CHARMING VICTORIAN HOME

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Grand Junction - Charming Victorian

3 Bedroom House Within Walking Distance Of Many Attractions

This Queen Anne Victorian home was built in 1897 and still maintains many original features but includes recent upgrades. Walk inside the enclosed porch and enter into the dining area (seating for 6-10) which also has a desk workspace. The living room is next to the dining area and has 11' ceilings with comfortable furniture and flat screen TV with Netflix Instant Service. The master bathroom has been completely remodeled and is very spacious. Walk through a walk-in-closet to the master bedroom, which has a new king-sized foam bed from Serta. The laundry room is conveniently located near the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked and has stainless steel appliances and small eat-in area. A Keurig coffee maker is available at the coffee station as well as a French press and a standard drip coffee maker.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and a (small) full bathroom. The queen room has a crib if needed and the other bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds.

A queen air mattress can be provided upon request. Please contact the owner about parties larger than six.

Two cruiser bikes and a bike trailer are available for exploring the downtown area. Please contact owner about accessing them.

Please be aware that our staircase is historic and therefore rather steep. It may not be suitable for the elderly.

NOTE: If this property is already booked by someone else for the dates you require, please check out our other property - VRBO #592498. It is also located downtown and is similar in size.

Last minute weekday discounts might be available - contact owner for details if this applies to you.

Great experience!

  • 5 out of 5
We stayed in this home over labor day weekend and had a great time. Having stayed in a variety of VRBO homes, we found the kitchen to be well stocked with just about any utensil or appliance you would normally need. Having small children with us, we also enjoyed the kid friendly environment which included a variety of toys. The house was clean, comfortable, and walking distance to the downtown area. Also, as avid mountain bikers, we were about five minutes from the lunch loops area and 20-30 minutes from riding in Fruita. We had a great trip to Grand Junction and would definitely stay there again...thanks!

Charming & Cozy Home Away from Home

Charming & Cozy Home Away from Home

From the moment I stepped through the door I fell in love with this house. Inside & out the way it was remodeled & decorated were top notch! Also it was furnished with everything you would ever need & catered to families with kids. We had our 4 year old, 3year old & 4month old grandchildren with us & they never got bored with the great selection of toys! The back patio is an awesome spot to kickback & enjoy some quality time. As an added bonus , Amy is super easy to work with & I would definitely recommend this house to all of my family & friends!

Roomy and relaxing

  • 5 out of 5
Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back next summer. The furnishings are "Pottery Barn style" comfortable. My 89 year old mother was able to enjoy the home using her walker. The King bed is so nice that we plan to buy Serta foam for our guest room. The staircase is narrow for our 60 something age group, but we had no trouble. It's a wonderful home centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Quaint, shabby chic home

Our family really enjoyed staying here. We could walk to parks and downtown Grand Junction. The upstairs bedrooms were a perfect hideaway for our grand-kids. Highly recommend this home for families.

Just Perfect!

  • 5 out of 5
What a charming little oasis in downtown Grand Junction! The house is so conveniently located for walking to Main Street and the bikes were wonderful for when we wanted to venture a little farther. Our family of four includes two teenage boys who were so happy to have their own rooms and the wi-fi was priceless! Working with Amy was an absolute pleasure and so easy. This was our first VRBO experience and we are hooked! We would highly recommend this gem to anyone interested in visiting the GJ area.
