Within a 2 min walk are direct buses to Victoria, Sloane Square, Chelsea, Trafalgar Square, the Tate Gallery, Houses of Parliament, Clapham, High Street Ken & Notting Hill. The house has a contemporary interior and is furnished stylishly with comfortable sofas and interesting objets d'art . This charming and cosy 1 bedroom apartment is set on the ground floor of the townhouse and has a contemporary interior including modern kitchen with many appliances, microwave, stove and oventop, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc, quality furnishings, and central heating. The open plan kitchen/lounge area opens out to a terrace ideal for alfresco dining and equipped with an outdoor dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed, and also has French doors to the terrace. The sitting room has a lounge area and dining table for 4 as well as flat screen TV with Sky news, sports, movies,cartoons. Two children can sleep in the lounge on the couch and a fold out single futon bed.

We planned a week in London and were looking for a condo fairly central (within zone 2 on the tubemap) but not in a to busy area/street and with easy access due to a pram we needed to bring for the youngest. We had a list of other amenieties we wanted to be in place as well, such as wi-fi, dishwasher and washer etc - and this condo met every need, and more.



First of all, the correspondence with angela should be gold standard to every owner of condos for rent. The information beforehand and in place in the flat met every question we had, and others were quickly answeared.



The flat iself was much better than we hoped for. The kids loved it, running in the corridor and bedrooms, they enjoyed wathing the telly, bathing. We made our meals easly and everything worked perfectly. The suggestions we had regarding travelling with small children (for example a high chair for det smallest children) was seriuosly considered.



The communications was easy accesed, bus, tube, train and cab. We planned the next day using the free wi-fi, excellent! We found two great playgrounds nearby for the children and could provide the groceries we needed close by.



We can highly recommend both the owner and the flat to other families travelling with to small children (ours aged 2 and 5). We have already booked another week.

Wonderful choice for a week in London

This was our first time renting a flat for vacation rather than staying at a hotel, so we were a little hesitant. But the owner was so helpful, responsive, and thorough that we quickly felt reassured.
The flat was perfect for our family of three, and so welcoming after a long day of sightseeing. Everything we needed was there.
The public transportation in London was amazing, so we could easily use the bus, train or tube to get anywhere we needed to go in the greater London area.
We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect choice

Very impressed with this property. Well appointed and very clean (very important to us). An oasis to return to at the end of the day. Excellent location. Easy 10 minute walk to East Putney tube station and Wandsworth train station. Supermarkets close by. Angela was a pleasure to deal with. Excellent communicator. We will certainly return here on our next visit to London. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Place

Upon arrival Angela greeted us with a bottle of Champagne and gave us the tour of the place. It was very clean with cheerful decor. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. We cooked most every night. There where plenty of dishes, glassware, pans etc for all us. Washer did a fine job with the clothes, however the dryer not so good. Laundry was short walk for us to dry everything. You are however provided with 2 drying racks, but it was raining so we couldn't hang our clothes on the terrace to dry.
Short walk from the house to shopping, transit systems and restaurants. Short tube ride, about 15 - 20 min, to the center of London. The house is located in a quite family neighborhood. We felt very comfortable with our stay in the home.
I would highly recommend this home for those looking for a comfortable place while in the London area.

Beautiful apartment , good location, great host

The apartment was everything we expected and more. Everything oozed quality from the bed linen to the great (and spacious) kitchen, fabulous bathroom and cozy lounge. We were basically 5 adults (3 teenagers) and the second bedroom was a squeeze but we knew that it would be. We had a futon as the 3rd bed and that limited space to store suitcases.

It's the little things that count and I can't think of a thing that Angela had not thought of. The welcome pack was very detailed and Angela was the perfect host. I would say that the apartment would be ideal for a couple with perhaps two younger children.

Free phone calls to Australia (up to an hour) included but it would have been good had we been able to receive calls from our friends back home. Angela may I suggest that each flat gets its own phone number. International roaming charges for Australians in UK are very expensive so most don't use their Australian mobiles in UK.

Anyway, if that's the only thing I can find, you've done a great job Angela.

a home away from home

My family (4 people) and a family’s friend (4 extra people) spent 6 days in this lovely apartment. I can tell you that we had such a wonderful relaxing stay that it was hard to leave and return to our daily life.
The apartment proved as advertised- clean, quiet, comfortable, It was spacious (3 separate bedrooms, sitting room and separate kitchen with all sort of equipment) clean, warm and homely. Bathrooms and kitchen appear to be recently renovated with dishwasher, cooker, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave/convection oven. Furniture and decoration are of very good taste.
The welcome milk, champagne, tea and coffee and fruit was a lovely touch and the cupboards contained many "useful" items so that you could cook a meal if you wanted (so many apartments provide a cooker and microwave but only one spoon or knife). Arriving from the airport we were glad that we could have a good cup of coffee without having to venture out to buy it
The location is excellent, everything you can need is conveniently situated, just a short walk to the underground and the bus stop, Putney High St with a good choice of restaurants, plenty of supermarkets across the street. A really exhaustive information pack (nice touch) is provided by the owner.
Add to that the owner, Angela, that proved a charming hostess and you have a truly great London accommodation. I can’t wait to be back in the autumn. Thoroughly recommended !

Lovely apartment in London

Warm and cosy apartment, this place was ideal for our stay in London before Christmas. It was very well heated and a lovely haven to come back to at the end of the day. Christmas lights were beautiful as usual, especially along Regent Street. Kitchen had everything we needed, shops nearby for food and wine, nice delis and restaurants. It was out of the noisy touristy areas, clean and tidy, a nice neighbourhood and we jogged every morning in the park (it was surprisingly warm for December!). Very quiet too for a London apartment! Occasional plane noise but it didn't bother us, you hear them in most parts of London. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning a trip for next Summer.

The flat is located in zone 2 Inner London, just 12-14 minutes by train to central London (Waterloo), 10 minute bus ride from Wimbledon, and 15-20 minutes by bus/train to Victoria. District Line tube is 10m away. A few minutes' walk away is the river Thames, a tree-lined riverside park, excellent riverside restaurants, and several pubs, while the lively Old York Road restaurant and cafe district is a 7 minute walk away. Waterloo is the home of Southbank, a picturesque riverside restaurant and shopping district, the London Eye, and Imax. A short walk will take you to Westminster Bridge, over the Thames to see the famous Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, then further up to Buckingham Palace and Park Lane. Over the footway is The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Picadilly and Covent Garden. Further to the right is the Modern Tate, and you can cross the famous Millennium Bridge to reach St Paul's Cathedral in London. By tube, you can reach the same destinations in minutes, as well as London Bridge, the Tower of London, and Oxford Circus.
