Guestbook comments from the manager
The cottage had everything I needed for my extended stay. The home was clean, comfortable and cozy. Harbor Landing is a quite tucked away community only a minute away from the historic Old Mandeville Lakefront. The long walks on the tranquil lakefront were my favorite. Thanks Warren for all your dining suggestions and for all you did to make my stay perfect. I will be back!!!
My name is Franke. I am retired from the Alcohol and Drug Treatment field. Originally from Louisiana, I am currently living in Arizona. I have lived my entire life in NOLA except for 4 yrs. in the USAF, 3 of which I was stationed in Germany. I have traveled and visited the Mandeville area my entire life. I return to Louisiana every year where I spend 3-4 months on the Northshore.
I purchased this home from a close friend so that I may have a piece of the scenic “lakefront heritage” to call my own when I’m in town. While I'm away, I am proud to share my home with others to experience the wonderful life of living 'short term' on the Old Mandeville Lakefront.
The lake is so close to my cottage, I can almost hear the waves splashing on the seawall. It’s a short bike ride or leisure walk along the lakefront to some of Old Mandeville’s most famous dining experiences. Walk the Lakefront early mornings for exercise or take an evening stroll to watch the sun set over the Causeway. You can launch your boat or watercraft in the free public boat launch less than 200 ft. from the home. My friends who own the “Mandeville Treehouse rental” (VRBO Listing #359454) are my primary property guardians and managers. Their home is next door to mine and they are a pleasure to speak too and work with.
