Tastefully furnished with pretty gardens and totally private

This stunning country villa is set in its own grounds and is totally private with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Gated with drive and ample parking area. The whole villa is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. The lower level comprises of spacious sun-lounge with beautiful wicker seating, doors off to the left lead into the inner lounge with comfy settees, TV /DVD / Satellite ( English & Spanish ). Further door leading through to beautiful dining room with Castillian style furniture. Fabulous modern, fully equipped kitchen is found to the rear of the ground floor along with utility room and drying area. Accessed from the dining room is the master king-size ( or twin ) bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and patio doors leading to pool and garden. Staircase lead to upper floor with king-size ( or twin ) room double room and separate shower room. Outside are beautiful gardens with lots of shaded and sun areas to sit and relax. A 8x4 metre kidney pool.

Casa Colmenar is nestled away on the edge of the lovely Spanish village of Llosa de Camacho surrounded by stunning mountains. The village itself has a local bar for that welcome glass of wine, snacks and music. A daily bread van calls early morning along with a weekly fish delivery. Further restaurants , shops and bars are only a short drive away. The villa is in an ideal location for exploring the the coast and inland Spain.Drive into the Valley and through the scenic mountains to the famous village of Guadalest, stopping off for a swim in the Algar waterfalls. Take the train to Valencia and visit the City of Science and arts or take a short drive to the coastal towns of Denia, Javea, Calpe, Moraira for all kind of water sports . Visit Benidorm for the water parks and Theme parks. Visit Jalon for wine tasting, the famous Saturday Rastro. Or simoly laze by the pool by day and dine out at the many great restaurants in the Valley and by the coast.

Notes: Please note as there are many steps around the villa outside it is not suitable for a wheelchair. For the elderly that can walk there is the bedroom / bathroom located at ground level. Well behaved dogs are very welcome but please no cats.

Many thanks to you and your team at Jalon Valley Villas. " Casa Colmenar" was very well presented, and one of the best villas we have rented in Spain. It was clean and tidy and everything we required - a home from home.
We would not hesitate to recommend your company or the villa to anyone. I,m syre you will be seeing us again next year - or as soon as we can afford to come again !

My wife and I have had many villa holidays in various locations in Spain and while some may not quite live up to expectations,this one certainly did.It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.We travelled with my sister in law and mother in law and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space both inside and outside which meant I had plenty of choices to escape for a bit of peace and quiet.It is only a 10 minute drive into Jalon itself which has everything you need provisions wise.Alternately a short walk will take you into the village.All 3 double bedrooms were of a generous size,consisting of 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs.The upstairs toilet and shower was a tad compact but downstairs there was a very nice,large family bathroom.On arrival there was a very good,not to mention welcome,food and drink hamper awaiting.The whole place is impeccably clean and all 4 of us would have no hesitation in recommending a visit.We would all return at the drop of a hat and look forward to our next visit.Give it a try,you won't be disappointed!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Colmenar. The villa is in a perfect setting, so private and with beautiful mountain views and away from the noise of traffic and people. The villa has excellent facilities and is clearn and very well maintained. The gardens are just lovely and have been landscaped with a loving attention to detail. The agent, Jill, was very friendly,helpful and available if we needed any information or assistance.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
