This newly renovated apartment in Nice centre is a successful merger of luxurious modernity and French elegance. From a location point of view, you won't do better. The apartment is in the wonderfully central area of Nice known as Nice Etoile. Holiday apartments in this area of Nice are snapped up, primarily because it is on the tram line and within a 10 minute walk of the train station, the Promenade, museums, shopping, the Cours Salaya markets in the old town as well as some of the best restaurants / patisseries in the country. Well located apartment close to tram and easy walk to old town and shopping district of Nice. Apartment was spacious light and bright with all amenities we needed for a great stay. The shower was great and the towels large and soft. The Nespresso machine was a bonus and much appreciated. There was plenty of useful information in the apartment, maps and restaurant information etc which was a great help. All communications were easy and without fuss. Couch was uncomfortable but otherwise everything was great.

Mary's apartment is in a fantastic location, with the Old Town, the beach, the Promenade des Anglais and the city's newly renovated green space the Promenade du Paillon, all close at hand. For shoppers the two main areas around Rue Massena and Avenue Jean Medecin are a five minute walk. Galeries Lafayette is two minutes away and there is a fascinating array of individual shops in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, including the all-important cafes, restaurants and bakeries.

The apartment itself is spotless, bright and modern and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And the wi-fi worked! Booking with Mary was fast and efficient and check-in with Valerie was easy. She even gave us practical help re booking taxis from and to the airport. Lots of useful written information was also provided re restaurants, museums, entertainment etc. to help us enjoy our time in the city.

This was our second visit to the apartment so it felt like home, and we are more than likely to come again.

Great neighborhood. Very quiet, close to old Nice.

This was a great apartment. It is close to old Nice but away far enough to get a good night sleep. The beds are comfortable and Mary has it well stocked with everything you need with regards to dishes, utensils etc. I would stay here again in a heart beat. It was very close to public transit where we would travel to adjoining town and go on adventures.

The Square is considered to be the centre of Nice and marks the intersection of Vieux (old) Nice and new Nice.

The world famous palm tree lined Promenade des Anglais is a mere 10 minute walk away, perfect for taking a seat and admiring the view, bike hiring or relaxing with local Niçoise. The old town is 5 minutes away, its maze of narrow streets packed with boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses and bars.

  • The bathroom is fully tiled in white, brick shaped porcelain tiles. The large sink is set in an oak vanity unit with an oak framed mirror over. There is a bath with shower, toilet and a heated towel radiator. 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 facecloth is provided per guest.

  • Both bedrooms face the internal courtyard and so are very quiet, traffic noise cannot be heard. The rooms have solid oak flooring and high ceilings and are flooded with light from the large double glazed windows. The traditional wooden shuttering on the outside of the building prevents this from becoming a problem in the early morning. Both bedrooms have brand new double beds with top quality Egyptian cotton linen and mattress toppers for extra comfort. The rooms are tastefully furnished and include alarm clocks, bedside lamps and full length mirrors. Ample storage is provided in the wardrobes and drawers. In addition there is a very comfortable double foldout sofa bed in the living room.

Notes:
The kitchen and living area are open plan with solid oak flooring throughout. There is a brand new very comfortable sofa-bed, a wall mounted TV with French and some English channels, a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s, an ipod docking station, lamps and dining table and chairs to seat 4. Fans will also be provided in summer. The kitchen has black and glass units with white tiles to provide a clean contemporary look. Everything that you could possibly need is provided including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, brita water filter and of course the all important bottle opener!
