Call Sweet Water Home For You Next Vacation Rental
The yacht is located at 5160 Collins Avenue directly across from 5151 Seacoast Condominiums Miami Beach, FL 33140. The slip has easy access to the newly renovated Beachview Park. Beachview Park is Miami beaches number one Public Park and has brand new bathrooms, showers, workout stations under palm trees, playground in the shade, and a life guard on duty. You can park at Beachview for only $1 an hour a maximum of $10 a day, and free over night. Unlike the resorts you are welcome to bring a cooler but no glass containers. Valet parking is available at 5151 Seacoast condominiums for $12 over night, which is a fantastic rate for Miami Beach. Fountainebleau parking is $40 a night. The other Miami Beach park Indian Creek is under renovation and does not have any facilities available at this time, but there is still a lifeguard on duty at this time.
Most resorts in Miami Beach welcome guests that are well behaved and spending money for food and beverage. No resort allows for you to bring in food and beverage to their pool facilities.
Adjacent to the slip is the Alexander Hotel which has a fun poolside bar and restaurant called Top of The Falls. Eden Roc has a restaurant and bar poolside that has good views of the beach called the Cabana. Fountainebleau has tighter security than most resorts and it is best to make a lunch reservation at La Cote prior to arrival. Fountainebleau is not family friendly and we recommend that you go to one of the other resorts if you have children with you.
When you arrive to the slips the yachts are located as follows:
• Slip # 2 is Sweetwater VRBO # 441375
• Slip #3 is Unplugged VRBO # 461461
• Slip #4 is Yacht Rock VRBO # 488214
Key lockers are adjacent to the door of each yacht and the combination which changes frequently will be texted to you by First Mate Alex.
The slips are located in a very nice residential area with multi-million dollar houses directly across the Indian Creek inlet and condominiums across the street. The slip at 5160 Collins Ave is close enough to the Fountainbleu and Nobu EdenRoc mega resorts yet away from the chaos of cabstands and 24 hour valet. Valet Parking at Seacoast Condo directly across the street is great for convenience and security and only $12.00 overnight (compared to resorts $40.00.) Or park at the Beachside parking lot for $1.00 per hour ($10 Maximum) and free overnight.
The Yacht cannot have more than six people on board and may not be used for an invitational party. Loud music, boisterous behavior, and parties are not acceptable late night on the outside decks of the yacht. You can party in the spacious salon all night long, but please remember you are in a residential area when you are on the outside decks. The condominium association security monitors the slips and has zero tolerance for unruly behavior.
Located at 5151 Seacoast Condominium is a fantastic Cuban convenience store that has wine, beer, sundries, and authentic Cuban Coffee & Sandwiches. The Cuban sandwich is one of the best sandwiches we have had in Miami and under $4. You will also want to try a cup of Cuban coffee to start your day. The store is open from 7am to 10pm daily and very well stocked for its size. You can find many things and save a trip to one of the big grocery stores. One half mile North on Collins Avenue is a Publix grocery store that has a full liquor store as well.
Chill out before a big night out in the spacious air-conditioned main salon, which features a sofa, easy chairs, dinning table, bar, kitchen, surround-sound with iPod doc, Wi-Fi, and a 47' flat screen TV.
After a big night out in South Beach come back to your private yacht with two private staterooms that each have Queen sized-beds, private bathrooms with showers, plenty of closet space, luxurious linens, & black-out curtains and flat screen TV's.
The ultimate in nightclubs, restaurants, bars, pool scenes are all walking distance from the yachts. Easy walk to Beachside Parks pristine beach with crystal clear water. Beach amenities include jet ski rental, umbrella & lounge chair rental for chilling out.
Our favorite way to get around Miami Beach is with the CITI bikes which can be checked out and taken one way to the hundreds of kiosks located around the beach. Beachview Park has a kiosk you can rent a bike and start your adventure. We suggest downloading UBER.com a FREE App for your transportation needs. Miami beach is only 2 miles long and you can get anywhere in a very short period of time.
Many of our guests are interested in taking a cruise with one of our Coast Guard approved and insured captains. Guests are not allowed to move a vessel without our captains. A half-day charter of Indian Creek and Biscayne Bay is $850. A full day charter that can include a visit to one of the sandbars that locals gather and party is $1350. Charters can have up to 6 guests, but no more. If you are interested in scheduling a charter please email date, time of departure, and half or full day. After receiving the email we will see if a captain is available to schedule your day on the water. Charter is inclusive of captains fee, fuel for idle speed cruising, and insurance.
