About this property

Bedrooms: Spacious interior has three large bedrooms and full bathrooms upstairs, and cozy window-lined living room, modern kitchen, half bath and family dining room downstairs. Families sleep comfortably on king, queen, and twin bunk, and queen and full sofa bed. Ground floor has a cozy mountain feel with knotty pine paneling and wood-burning fireplace (with gas starter), while upstairs is contemporary comfortable with high ceilings, skylights and hardwood floors. Plenty of parking in two-car garage with private entry, and wide paved driveway.
Amenities: Many modern amenities, including 55-inch Smart TV with Amazon Alexa Fire TV Cubes including Prime movies, HBO and YouTube TV for sports, news and entertainment. Smart TVs with Amazon Alexa Fire TV Cubes in all bedrooms (USB, HDMI, VGA capable), Xbox and games, WiFi internet inside and out, central heating with humidifier, kids' board games and classic DVDs, club-grade treadmill, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, and a piano.

Roads and Access: Easy access to State Routes 18, 138 and 173 with MARTA mini-bus routes. Main roads plowed early and often during snow, while private road is cleared promptly day after storm. Chains are required during snow storms, so recommend carrying chains in the winter months.

A warm home with a mountain feel but modern convenience, this unique property is large enough for groups, but intimate and secluded enough for a honeymoon. Such an amazing stay

We loved everything about our little weekend getaway, the place is in a great location and was so clean and could have everything you could need. The hot tub was fantastic and Tess and Dave were very communicative if we needed anything. Only complaint was the stay wasn't longer. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful space.

This property is a perfect getaway that feels beyond home away from home. Tess and Dave were so communicative and supportive during our stay since we encountered unforeseen hardships with the snow. So grateful to have had their knowledge and support all weekend. The property is fully equipped with absolutely everything needed for a family and group. Book with confidence! I will definitely be booking again and referring their home to friends and family!

Nice and cozy

This cabin home was absolutely spectacular. It was very spacious, it had lots of fun activities, everything you need to make your stay feel comfortable and welcomed. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back again. The hosts were very helpful and very kind. Our family vacations a lot and i have to say this was one of my favorite places to stay out of all of them. Thank you , Dave and Tess for your lovely home and helping us have a memorable vacation.

Tess is a local girl, born and raised in Southern California and Dave is a South Philly boy glad to have found the love of his life. We've built our home to be our dream house, with modern conveniences for comfort but a cozy cabin feel for relaxing. We really enjoy tending our lovely garden nestled among tall trees, and, afterward, lounging in the outdoor Jacuzzi on the spacious backyard deck with a glass of wine. We know you'll love our mountain home too!

Why they chose this property

It is close to everything. Hidden away in a private quiet street yet close enough to walk to the Village and Burnt Mill Beach. On 4th of July you can see the fireworks from our front street; Labor Day is perfect for weather and events; Christmas is magical with a chance of snow and a wintry mountain. No matter what time of year, something fun is always happening at the Village from live music to Oktoberfest to holiday shopping. Whether it's the spring dogwoods in bloom, a cool summer breeze over the 100-foot cedars, the fall leaves changing or your first winter snowfall, you will always find a season to love. Oh, and you can bring your dog too!
