About this property

Private, detached, home away from home with private pool situated in the select Half Moon Bay Villas development, ten minutes from Bassetterre, Port Zante and the airport. Located in the heart of the tourism hub of Frigate Bay. Perfect for a romantic getaway, and can accommodate up to 6 for families.

Entered by a private courtyard, onto the sun terrace and shaded veranda's lined by banana trees. Open concept great room with cathedral ceilings and feature mahogany louvre french doors on 3 aspects. Creatively decorated by the artist owner, the villa is adorned with Caribbean styled furnishings.

Fully equipped kitchen and bar, with every tool a chef could need. Dinnerware for 8, silverware and a variety of glassware and plastic tumblers for poolside. The kitchen bar has a sink, dishwasher and stools for grab and go dining. Outsize refrigerator includes water and ice in the door. Upon your arrival, you will receive a welcome pack including basic groceries, wine, beer and sodas.

For formal meals, the kitchen adjoins a delightful dining area with buffet, seating for 6 and a beautiful crystal chandelier. The dining room has French doors which open to the Romeo and Juliet balcony offering a unequalled views and tropical breezes.

With both ceiling fans and AC, the comfortable living area has a sleeper sofa, relaxing recliner and a 32 inch television with cable above the bookcase. French doors lead out to the shaded veranda and pool area on both the East and South sides.

Also featuring cathedral ceilings, the master bedroom offers a traditionally styled king-sized bed, storage, television, and ample closet space. The master is adjoined by the studio which includes a day bed which converts to a full bed, and can be curtained off from master if needed. The studio has a selection of books, art, comfortable reading chairs and also opens onto the veranda and pool.

The large bath features an over-sized jacuzzi tub, vanity, hair dryer, selection of soaps, bath items and stacked washer and dryer in the closet. Luxury linens and towels are provided for you.

With spectacular ocean, mountain and golf course vistas, the veranda and courtyard feature a private pool, hammock, settee with end tables, outdoor dining area (seating 4), poolside lounge chairs and a gas grill. Pool towels, beach accessories and snorkel equipment are provided for you.

Tropical gardens surrounding the villa are planted with a variety of native fruits and herbs for the villa use. You may also enjoy a selection of tropical flowers and plants that is unparalleled on the island. The rock wall surrounding the gardens features a gate which offers easy access to the golf course and club house.

With ceiling fans and AC throughout, our truly Caribbean home from home is the ultimate in a private, relaxing retreat, yet moments from all your key amenities.

Terrific St. Kitts Villa..

This is a great villa and, although the description is entirely accurate, it cannot capture the ambiance of this home away from home. The property has the best position in this great location and is not overlooked in any aspect. The outside space is wonderful with stunning views over the golf course to the sea; the pool shares this view and was much larger than we expected. The interior is spacious, very stylish, comfortably furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It is clearly a place that is used and lived in by the owners and we enjoyed the original artwork on display and the terrific library. Everything is well maintained and immaculately clean. The location is great for exploring and staying in St. Kitts. Nearby (although not intrusively so) there are shops, restaurants and ATMs as well as easy access to Basseterre, the main road that circumnavigates the island and the southern peninsula. We agree with other reviewers that the villa has so much to offer that it is sometimes difficulty to drag yourselves away. However, St Kitts is an interesting destination and we enjoyed driving through the villages, talking to the friendly people and visiting the historic sites including Fort Brimstone and the old sugar plantations. Basseterre is also fascinating; go into the public library above the courthouse, the librarian is a great lady and a mine of information! We also enjoyed ziplining in the rain forest and visiting Romney Manor close by. This gets very busy when the cruise ships are in but the guys will tell you when the quieter days are so book then for a really good experience. The owner was very easy to deal with and, when we had a slight problem, the response was immediate and effective. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a great holiday on St Kitts.

Little slice of Paradise!

This is our second stay at the Quinn's lovely Villa. Feels like home away from home. Thanks for the hospitality and the welcome groceries in the fridge! You thought of everything! We will be back in September and hope to stay here again. It's close to everything, and it is in a very safe neighborhood with the most spectacular views!

2 WEEKS ON ST KITTS

The location, the view and the plunge pool are wonderful. You will never tire of this incredible view. But.... this is not as pictured as far as the furniture. What is there is old and in great need of being replaced. The grill was unusable. The cleaning done before our arrival was poor.The property manager didn't "drop by" for 2 days and was difficult to contact. This villa needs a real good thorough cleaning. We did not think this was worth the daily rate we paid

Amazing View!

Amazing view from the villa. We enjoyed the cool breeze and plunge pool. It is about a 10 min. walk to Half Moon Bay beach on the other side of the golf course. It was nice to be able to rinse the sand off with the outdoor shower. My husband loved the 5 min. walk to the golf clubhouse. The villa has all the essentials and the owner is thoughtful in leaving a few starter grocery items which is a nice touch after a long flight. Our stay in the villa was a great expereince!

Beautiful villa

We have stayed at this villa several times and absolutely love it. It is comfortable, private and has beautiful views of the golf course as well as the ocean. It is stocked with all 0f the amenities you could need. The location is perfect whether you want to explore the island or just relax by the pool. It is very safe and if there are any problems, the management is very prompt in resolving them. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back next year!

Why they chose this property

This property has it all. It is a private residence set in the Half Moon Bay Villa development and located adjacent to the Royal St. Kitts Golf Course.

After visiting St kitts for over 15 years we finally found our ideal island home. Leeward breezes, a temperate climate and absolute privacy make the villa a perfect retreat. We visit numerous time per year, and adore the welcome we always receive.

The island itself is home to beautiful pristine beaches and a wonderful variety of activities. The people of St. Kitts are warm and friendly and are glad to share their knowledge of the island and its' treasures. Other 'natives', the little vervet monkeys, are fun to watch. And the local seafood is incredible, while being quite reasonably priced. The dress code is casual everywhere. There are superb restaurants featuring local fare. Bassetterre, the capital city, and Port Zante offer shoppers a variety of unique goods.

Of great interest is the history of the island, with its' roots in the sugar industry. St Kitts is dotted with ruins of old plantations, some of which are home to restaurants and hotels now. Others, left to ruin, are fun to explore. The 'mother' of the island, the volcano, can be hiked through the rain forest and has breath-taking views down to the crater. While the beaches are all public, it is not hard to find one where you can be alone to enjoy the sun and white sand and watch the tropical fish. The water is clear and warm and boasts many varieties of coral and sea life. There are several wrecks to explore with scuba diving. And you can always find a charter or take the ferry to Nevis, our sister island.

The St. Kitts Royal Golf Club is one-of-kind in that it plays on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island.
