Seagull cottage has been comfortably furnished to provide a second home for us but we enjoy sharing this delightful property. The cottage’s main attraction is the proximity to the sea. Few cottages can offer a beach as the garden! There is shingle beach, swimming and water sports are a highlight. For those who enjoy land-based activity the high street has a bike hire shop and the promenade is a jogger or walkers delight. The Saga building also has a large play park for children. Alternatively just lay back in the deck hairs in the sun trap patio. There is a small convenience shop in the high street but large supermarkets are available in Folkestone although Hythe offers a much more relaxed shopping opportunity and a Waitrose.
