This adventure is a family affair. After several visits with family in Vero we saw the potential of acquiring a vacation rental in Florida's best kept secret, the community of Vero Beach. Our family purchased the triplex in early July 2013 to enjoy and to share this great location and condos to you, the vacationer!!
Charles and Karen Wagner purchased this condo in 2013
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!! This triplex is at a unique location - half of a block West of the boardwalk in a quiet location, but close enough to walk to over 20 restaurants - from 5 star to ice cream shops.
The triplex has 3 condos, all very similar, all on the ground floor. Although they are NOT handicap accessible, they can make it easy on those less able. Parking is very close, there is a walk-in shower in each unit. The closest entrance to the boardwalk is handicapped accessible. Come and enjoy the condos!!
This was our second stay at this condo, as last year spent a month and this year two months, and again was just the BEST! We miss it so much already and have such great memories once again.
We love the condo, everything and more we need. The condo is so well appointed and large rooms and very clean and modern. We love the French doors to the covered patio and backyard and love the fenced in yard for our Havanese duo. They remembered it this year and once we got there they went right to the door of this unit, so that was great to know they were so happy to be back too.
The weather was for the most part was so warm, with blue skies and sunshine everyday and clear nights with lots of stars. We love the area and walk so many times a day with the dogs, and ourselves, and we love having the bikes they provide and we have explored so many areas on the bikes. We are also beach lovers and this condo is so close to the beach and you can walk for miles on the beach if you want. There always seems to be a breeze off the ocean. The Boardwalk is great also to walk on.
Everyone is so friendly in Vero, as who couldn't be happy there? We have met so many people and made friends who we look forward to seeing every year now.
There are great restaurants and something for everyone, and also good shopping, or you can just relax and enjoy the weather! You can walk down Ocean Drive to the shops, restaurants and the Farmers Market on Saturdays. Such a great community to be a part of.
Al enjoyed golfing in the area and have met others to golf with at least a couple of times a week.
There is the Museum of Art and the Theatre and many cultural activities almost every weekend, art shows, and music festivals, etc.
The Triple W owners are so wonderful to deal with and we are so appreciative to them for having this beautiful condo for us to return to each year hopefully! It feels like our Florida home now and that is so special to us.
This was our 1st extended vacation so was a new experience for us. Wasn't sure about leaving home for 1 month. We soon settled right in and felt at home. A lovely little condo w/ so many pluses. It was well appointed and kept in good condition. We loved the expansive French doors leading out to the patio and backyard. Was very convenient and entertaining for our little Havanese dog, Laci. She was on the look-out for Geckos and chased all but one bold one away. She didn't miss home (or the cold weather) at all. The yard gets full sun and we always sat out and enjoyed the evening sunset which was always breathtaking! There were some resident cardinals and also the odd Blue Jay enjoying the berries on the backyard bushes. We strolled along Ocean Blvd. every morning w/ Laci. Loved looking in all the little shops and searching out new spots to dine. Laci lead us to Dashing Dog every day and walked right in where she was always offered a cookie and refused it. LOL We met many people w/ dog(s) who were so friendly that we got so know some and hear where they're from and where they stay. And, some who have moved there permanently . . . and we understand why! We dined out often at restaurants along Ocean Blvd., and as well off island. Too many to choose from that we didn't make it to all on our list. I recommend the lovely Orchid Spa for some pampering and also their pool side grill & bar called Heaton's Reef. Quaint w/ a lovely view of the ocean. My husband enjoyed an early morning and evening stroll along the beach and would sometimes sneak in to Mulligans for refreshment! :-) He also enjoyed Sandridge Golf Course and was warmly welcomed by a few of the locals who became his regular golfing buddies. We also liked that the Boardwalk was paced out so we could do our daily miles.
There really is so much we could mention but there is something for everyone w/ various interests. The proximity of this rental to the beach/ocean and Ocean Blvd. is about as good as it gets. The Owner was more than accommodating and very helpful and generous w/ his time in assisting us. He also allowed us to arrive a couple of days early so we could be there to enjoy the New Year arriving! Thank you! Your kindness is very much appreciated!
Absolutely love this location and unit! No matter the time of day or night, we could hear the surf on the shore....in the morning with coffee, or evening with a tea. Ahhhhh moments we will cherish. My partner was hesitant about going to Vero (after golfing at Sawgrass & the St. Augustine area), but in less than 24 hrs he was extolling how peaceful, "unbusy", the unit, & Vero is! He did play golf at the Vero CC, which wound up being one of his favorite courses! (Their GM and pro were the friendliest! The course is a little challenging, with beautiful greens/fairways)
I cannot walk distances easily, and our walks to the boardwalk were effortless. We did not eat out as much as we usually do while here; the kitchen is well appointed (wish I had that kitchen in my home!). A Publix nearby had everything (& more) for cooking in. But, we did go to Humiston Park on Sat for the art and fresh food vendors. A local caterer was present and we had a wonderful ham & egg crepe while overlooking the beach! Riverside Cafe was good with huge portions of fish, Casey's served up loads of bacon on the burgers, Boardwalk cafe had a great hot dog (yes, hot dog! My partner has to have a dog after golf!). We were serenaded each evening with sounds of the surf, faint blues/jazz from farther down (probably Mulligan's), or a little calypso from the Boardwalk cafe. Just memorable! And so peaceful!
All in all, Vero retains that small town, easy to get around in, feel. We live on the Third Coast, but love the First Coast! Charles (owner) is quick & responsive at booking, and after....thank you so much!
We visited Vero Beach for a family wedding and chose this condo as it is centrally located on the island. The location was perfect. The decor and amenities are modern, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. The beds are very comfortable, the air conditioner cools the place down perfectly from the Florida humidity and heat, and you are just steps from the ocean. We discussed how great a place this would have been when our children were young, as there is plenty of room for a family of four. When we arrived (late evening), our access code to get into the unit didn't work; however, I called the owner and within 5 minutes, all was well. The responsiveness was outstanding. We would definitely recommend!
We had a wonderful time here at this house. The house was beautiful and very clean inside and out. This house was the perfect alternative to staying at a hotel. They had all the amenities that we found ourselves needing. My husband loved the fact that there was a grill and we were able to grill out while we stayed here. There was a very well supplied kitchen and the home had more than ample linens for us. There were even several beach items there that we could use and we didn't have to bring or buy our own floats and chairs. (this made it very convenient to not have to worry about packing beach chairs!) We loved the customer service of the owners and found the suggestions in the guest book that they keep there to be really helpful in finding things to do and places to go.
It was a short and quick walk to the beach to watch and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We had our 9 and 5 year old boys with us and it was an easy walk for them to the beach too. There were a few days that we had crystal clear water and were able to use our goggles and see several small fish swimming around us right off the beach. We even drove down the road to Round Island Beach and Park. On the park side you can easily see manatees swim right under the bridge during the early afternoon, and the beach side was perfect for family pictures. Our kids talked about the manatee sightings all week! The location of the house was also very convenient to do day trips such as Disney, Kennedy Space Center, Playmobil Playland, Andretti thrill park etc.
This house was able to accommodate all our needs and we had a great time. We will definitely be going back and have recommended them already to our friends and family. This was honestly one of the best family vacations that we have ever taken.
What you see is what you get. It is steps away from the beach. We'll equipped with washer dryer, dishwasher, patio, etc. Nicely appointed. Great alternative to a hotel. You even have access to beach chairs, beach umbrella, some water toys and two bikes.
East of US A1A just 150 steps from the beach. This ground floor condo offers tropical privacy just steps away from one of Vero's finest guarded beaches. Walk or bike to nearby waterfront dining or upscale shopping. Enjoy rare art at the nearby Vero Art Museum or live performances at the the Riverside Theater. Take in a round of golf at one of the many nearby golf courses or simply soak in the sun at the beach just steps away. These condos are truly for the beach lovers. Within an half of a block, the vacationer can walk the 1/2 mile boardwalk, walk the sandy beaches, sit an watch the surf roll in or get an ice cream cone on the way there at the Boardwalk Cafe & Ice Cream Shop. There is NO POOL at the condo.
