A LARGE APARTMENT (170M2-1840 SQ FT), 3 BEDROOMS, WITH HIGH STANDARDS

We took our parents and sister to Paris for Christmas and had a wonderful stay in chez Faraut. Beatrix met us on our first day and was very informative showing how everything worked. This is a very large apartment that felt spacious for the five of us living there for a week. The high ceilings, beautifully ornate crown molding, and multiple fireplaces speak of La Belle Époque and Baron Haussmann, and the modern kitchen was much larger than any place else I've stayed in the city. We cooked Christmas Eve and Christmas day meals and set a beautiful table in the formal dining room. The bedrooms had large closets were decorated with beautiful draperies and comfortable linens--the perfect place to sleep peacefully after long days of sightseeing. As for the location, we enjoyed being so close to the lively Christmas lights of the Champs Elysées for nighttime strolls, and the quiet Parc Monceau for early morning jogging. A few steps away is Musée Jacquemart-André --a must see (and open on Christmas day). All in all this is a wonderful apartment in a great location and receives my highest recommendation.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely apartment for a week in May, 2012. Although we've been to Paris many times, we have never experienced the luxury of space, the beautiful furnishings and the intelligent planning that went into making this apartment easy and comfortable to use.

Béatrix met us when we arrived and showed us carefully and thoroughly around, leaving her cell phone number with us in case we had questions. Everything was also explained clearly and diagrammatically in a binder that was located in the apartment, so we had exact instructions for using the appliances and televisions. Everything worked beautifully; the one thing that needed attention had already been noted by the owners and was promptly fixed, with no inconvenience to us.

The apartment is furnished beautifully. It is clear that the owners have lived here and have decorated it to be warm and inviting . The beds are firm and comfortable, everything that is provided is of excellent quality. It's a perfect place to return to at the end of a long day of Paris sightseeing, spread out and relax.

We have not often stayed in this area and enjoyed becoming more familiar with it. It's a pleasure living right down the street from the Musée Jacquemart-André and being a few minutes walk from the Champs-Elysées and the Seine. Public transportation is nearby and easy to use. The Parc Monceau is a couple of blocks away providing space for kids to run around and adults with a lovely place to stroll.
