Reggae fans should make the trip to’ Nine Mile’, Bob Marley birthplace and final resting in the town of St Ann’s.

There is a market which sells various items, but mainly fresh fruit and vegetables. There are many stores which may interest a holidaymaker, such as Duty Free shops selling jewellery, gifts, souvenirs and alcohol.

SHARON SIMON purchased this house in 2007
Why SHARON SIMON chose Ocho Rios
I purchased this house during a trip in May 2007 when the scheme was just a building site with only a few houses built with no residents. I purchased this property as i was 'tired and fed up' off staying with relatives whilst on vacation. I wanted my own space and independence and to have a place that i can call home with all my necessary comforts.
I was attracted to the area as i was very impressed with the many upscale properties in the area that you see whilst traveling on the North Coast Highway from Ochi Rios. I have stayed at various hotels situated in the area, so i was very familiar with the area. Huddersfield/Boscobel is in the parish of St Mary. The property is only a 15-20 minutes drive to Ochi Rios (10 KM) on a fairly new highway(No bad roads) which to me, was a blessing !!
There is a further small community literally a 5 minute walk from the property which has a variety of stores which has been very handy for me in terms of grocery shopping and buying a local meal of Curry Goat and Rice and Peas at the popular 'M & M Restaurant' next door to 'Savings Plus Supermarket'. If you fancy an alcoholic beverage, well there is numerous 'Rum Bars' and 'Sports Bar' Entertainment in this community is very good catering for the young and old. Many parties take place in this community with well known sound systems.
Did i mention the beaches? Well you can choose from at least four beaches from Ochi Rios towards Oracbessa. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk right next to 'Cool Oasis Gas Station' at Rio Nuevro or literally a 5 minute drive to 'Marley Place' in Boscobel. A further 5 minute drive will take you to 'James Bond Beach in Oracabessa'.

Guestbook comments from the owner
As a single female, security was important to me in choosing the right accomodation. The accomodation met my expectation and i was very impressed! It was clean, tidy and furnished with modern furniture. I felt as if i was at home. The security guards were polite and friendly. I will be returning back to this property in February 2011 and am looking forward to meeting the friends i made on the estate.
