15 persons holiday home with excellent facilities in and out

If your dream of a vacation with castle atmosphere and touch of history, in peaceful surroundings with many walking tracks, a splendid view over the landscape and many different activity and excursions possible, not the least to Barcelona, Castell Trissor would be a very good choice. In ancient times, the situation was selected to secure overview over possible hostile entrants. As seen on many bigger Catalan properties, the house has a chapel on the property, dedicated to the San Francisco de Asís.

There is a very large dining room ensuite with a sitting room with chimney, TV and DVD. The house has a modern kitchen with all commodities such as dishwasher, micro wave and washing machine.

The outdoor facilities are excellent. There is a terrace on first floor. Downstairs, the extensive, tiled court yard gives access to a beautiful room with table tennis, a covered terrace with outside-kitchen and the very nice pool-area with sun beds, fenced for the safety of small children.

Castell Trisor is situated in the hills around Cardona. The house is situated on the top of a hill and has an excellent view over the landscape. There are no neighbours, so it is the perfect place for relaxation.

Nearby, there are many walking tracks, and horse back riding is possible in a farm in the nearby village. The situation centrally in Catalonia makes it possible to reach more or less every corner of Catalonia from Girona, Figueres with the Dalí museum and Costa Brava in the north, Barcelona and the wine district of Penedés below, and Tarragona in the south.

Cardona is one of the beautiful towns of Catalonia, with a lively and antique town centre and weekly market day. On the top of all, the castle, which protected the town is situated.

Golf: There is a golf course in La Ribera de Salada, 27 km. away.

Ski: There is a minor ski resort in Port de Comte, 50 km. away, and the major ski resorts in Andorra and La Molina 100-120 km. away.

For families where not all are skiers, the location might be a nice compromise, as the distance to Barcelona and the ski resorts is about the same. Enjoy the evenings together and go skiing or sightseeing during the day.
