Elisa Court's perfectly placed to explore the sparkling vibe of the West End entirely on foot, as it's located in the heart of central London, within easy walking distance from Oxford Street, Regent Street, Soho, Covent Garden and London's Theatre district, as well as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, the British Museum, National and Tate Galleries, 10 Downing Street, Parliament Buildings, Big Ben, Royal Academy, and many other tourist attractions. Furnished to a high standard, this stylish apartment gives you most the comfort of a hotel, but at a fraction of the price!

There are a wide choice of restaurants, bars, bustling cafés, cybercafés, and shopping amenities 'on the doorstep' and there are an amazing eight local underground (subway) stations, providing quick and easy access to all parts of London. The West End is extremely vibrant, packed with colourful, breathtaking history and as there is always plenty to see and do whatever the time of year, people flock to the area. As well as being famous for a host of well-known tourist attractions, the neighbourhood is also surrounded by dozens of shops. Elisa Court is on the 2nd floor (aprox: 700 sq feet) with an elevator at the entrance. This freshly painted (Dec '09) unit is newly triple-glazed throughout and all on one level, with modern furnishings, non-smoking, clean and well-maintained, with a telephone and wi-fi/broadband internet access. Both the kitchen and bathroom floors are tiled and the apartment is hygienically carpet free.

Bedroom One - Telephone, king-size bed with memory foam mattress, black-out curtains and an oversized chest of drawers, Hi-fi system and closet. Linen provided.

Bedroom Two - Top of the range, luxury super-king zip and link bed, with memory foam latex mattress for the ultimate good night's sleep. This can be split into two twin beds when required - especially helpful if you have a party of four or children. It also has black-out curtains and a double closet. Linen provided.

Living room - Black leather Robin Day sofa, Sony digital wide-screen TV with SKY satellite family package, a video player and a frosted chrome dining table seating four.

Triple-glazing throughout even though Chitty Street is a quiet one way side street, we believe in total hush for sleeping!

Kitchen - Fully fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster large enough for bagels, cutlery, blender, cafetiere, crockery, iron, ironing board & clothes dryer.

Bathroom - Bath with separate power shower attachment above. All the towels are provided and freshly laundered.

The tranquillity of Regents Park and beautiful rose gardens are only ten minutes' walk away, plus there is a children's playground named 'Crabtree fields' nearby. The American Church is around the corner and the American Embassy is also within close proximity.

The apartment is surrounded by 8 underground (subway) stations! The nearest, Goodge Street station, is just over a minutes' walk away. The other underground stations are Tottenham Court Road, Warren Street, Euston, Euston Square, Great Portland Street, Regents Park, and Oxford Circus. Plus, there are numerous buses frequenting the area and also excellent rail connections to both Eurostar, Gatwick, and Heathrow Airport. Taxis are plentiful within the area. You will literally be able to wave one down around the corner.

So, after a busy day of sightseeing or shopping, pop back to the comfort of your temporary London home, drop off your bags, kick off your shoes and relax for a while, before heading back out again for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, or a wondrous stroll amidst the spectacular glitz of London's famous West End.

We just got back home yesterday after a wonderful week in London and Chitty Street. The flat worked well for us. It was clean and comfortable and we loved the location: we were able to walk to everywhere and didn't start taking the underground til the end of the week after we'd already walked all over the city and felt we "knew" it. (And what a lovely city it is!) It was great then to come "home" at the end of a long day to relax and regroup.

Excellent location, London West End

My family of four stayed 8 nights. The location is unbeatable. This isn't fancy or large but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable enough. The kitchen is ok for basic needs. The owner was very responsive, and I believe the property was as advertised. I'd stay there again for sure if we venture back to London.

Our family really enjoys London (wife is a history major in college). We have stayed in numerous locations from fringes of the city (Uxbridge) to center city (Oxford St.) and find this location suits us with stores and grocery, buse stops, tubes stations, British Museum, We are light sleepers and downtown London is not always conducive to quiet nights, however, this location works well as workers in the area go home after 6 pm.
This was our 1st stay at Elisacourt but we have stayed at least 6 previous times within 1 block of this location and really like the area for its convenience, walk to Picadilly, Traflagar Square, Oxford Street, etc. The apartment is well laid out for a family with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The kitchen and living area works well to watch tv and or use the wireless high speed internet. The apartment has an elevator but being on the 2nd floor, it is easy to walk up.
I fully recommend this apartment for a family vacation in London, my family will be back soon.

This was my second stay at this apartment and I can't recommend it enough. The location is superb -- it's incredibly convenient to be within a short walk of underground and stores, and easy walk of Soho, the West End Theaters, Bloomsbury, Oxford Street, King's Cross and St. Pancras stations . . . in other words, the apartment is centrally located and over the course of a week's sightseeing that represents a huge advantage and savings in time and transportation costs. The apartment itself is simple with touches of elegance, and fully functional -- the kitchen, stove, refrigerator, washer/dryer again saved us time and money. The beds were comfortable, closet space generous, towels plentiful, and there's enough space for three or four people to share the apartment for a week comfortably. Overall, if you're coming to London with two or three other people this apartment is a terrific bargain. I plan to return a third time.

We stayed at Eliza court for 9 days over New Year. The apartment was warm, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen for self catering. It is very conveniently situated for London sightseeing, close to several underground stations and near to Oxford Street and places of interest such as the British Museum. There are ample food shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Having wifi connection and a selection of novels and guide books was appreciated.

Great Central London Base

It was so nice to arrive at Eliza Court after our long flight. No issues as Anita the owner, was very helpful - from the keys arriving in Australia, to the PayPal conversion fees! The apartment was perfect for 2 adults and our 2 teenage daughters. Spotless, convenient location, quiet and secure - we left our girls there alone when we went out at night. The dryer works well with half a load! The Underground was close as were any number of cafes and restaurants - Tesco and Starbucks all within a 2 minute walk. The WiFi was fast and the girls loved being able to watch TV after a long day. Very happy to recommend this apartment and will stay again.
