Why Barbara Romanelli chose Pine River
We chose to buy a cabin several years ago - just to have a haven to escape the hustle & bustle and enjoy each other. We fell in love with Sanborn Lake - we love the 'smallness' of the lake (244 acres isn't that small - but you'll never see more than a half a dozen motor boats on the lake at one time), the friendliness of the people, and the quaintness of the cabin.
What makes this cabin unique
The views of the lake are seen from the entire lake side of the home. We love sitting on the dock - drinking coffee in the morning. We love playing games at night - listening to the loons. Just relaxing in the hammock is a treat, too! The lake is crystal clear: spring-fed, sand-bottom & offers 18 ft water clarity (reported by DNR).
