Brand new lakefront cabin on Placid Lake. Enjoy the expansive views from the large decks or dock. Idyllic lakefront setting with high end cabin including wood flooring, granite countertops, four bedrooms (king, queen, double double, 4 twins and couches that can sleep kids). Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling or bring your own boat and use the dock. Amazing Montana mountain lake that is only about 10 minutes from the town of Seeley Lake which includes restaurants, shopping, jet ski rentals, golf and ice cream. Also located a little over an hour from Glacier. Includes two kayaks, canoe, paddle boat, wind surfer, air hockey table and ping pong. SORRY NO WEDDINGS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY.
Cabin includes the use of two kayaks, a canoe, windsurfer and pedal boat. Also includes a gameroom with ping pong, shuffleboard table, air hockey and darts. Gentle sloping frontage to the lake and immediate proximity to snowmobile trails in the winter. This is one of the nicest cabins on the lake.
Pictures do not do this home justice. It's beautiful, very well maintained, with a gorgeous view of the lake. Sit on the enormous porch with a glass of wine, or down on the deck by the lake. It's beautiful in the evening, and even more enchanting in the early morning. The ducks out for a swim with the misty fog hovering over the water, and the sun peeking over the hills. Never a dull moment with so many games downstairs, and canoes, boards and a paddle boat outside. Ready for a barbecue, a little lake fishing, or a hike up the road? It's all there for families, couples, or a girls/boys getaway. The owners are extremely helpful and very friendly. Questions are promptly answered by a quick phone call or email. Love this place and would definitely return.
This is THE place to stay for your next visit to the Seeley Lake area! Located about 10 minutes from town, we found the home easily on a quiet, wind protected end of Placid Lake. The setting is beautiful and the home exceeded our expectations in every way.
I own a vacation rental company a few hours away with 70+ properties, so by default I am constantly looking for things in rentals. This home was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and plenty of beds, linens and towels for our group of 12. They must have on demand hot water, because we never ran out of hot water when there were multiple showers running back to back.
The lower walk out level to the lake has ping pong, air hockey and a shuffleboard table, so it was great to keep our group of eight high school students entertained. Although there is no internet in the home, both AT&T and Verizon had strong signals and we easily used our mobile hot spot features on our phones. There is a large TV with a sectional downstairs, but in 4 days I don't think our group ever turned it on!
The deck area has outdoor speakers, good grill and plenty of seating to view the lake. Pretty ideal setting...I highly recommend this home.
My family - kids & grandkids - all eleven of us had a comfortable and fun stay here for 4 days during Thanksgiving. The kitchen was accomodating and we all loved the picnic-type BIG table which made eating, doing crafts and visiting a real pleasure. We took the grandkids fishing and watched the geese, swans and ducks every day. Beautiful! Thank you, Ben, for allowing us the use of your fantastic log home! Our memories here will last forever!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new, spacious, and beautiful! The cabin had everything we needed and more. The views are breathtaking from the large windows in the living room and large deck. The kitchen was well equipped, we loved the fact that our family of 9 could sit together at the long table in the dining room. My husband and I slept downstairs, my parents on the main level, and my brother and the kids upstairs. The kayak and paddle boat were a lot of fun, so was fishing from the dock, the ping pong table, darts, and evening gatherings around the fire pit. There is surround sound music throughout the house and on the outside deck. The boat launch at Placid is easy to use, and the dock was easy to tie our boat and wave runner to. Thank you to Ben and his Family for sharing their cabin with us, they were very accommodating and great to work with. I would highly recommend this property, we made many memories that will last a lifetime and hope to stay again next summer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the cabin to have everything we needed and more. The cabin is new, spacious, and just beautiful! The view from the living room and deck is breathtaking. Our Family enjoyed the long table in the dining room where all 9 of us sat comfortably together. The kitchen had everything we needed and was easy to cook in. My husband and I stayed downstairs, my parents on the main floor, and my brother and the kids upstairs. The basement has a ping pong table, darts, and a wet bar. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayak, outdoor grill, surround sound music (even on the deck), fishing off the dock, and the fire pit in the evenings. The boat launch at Placid is easy to use. Our stay was perfect, thank you to Ben and his Family for sharing their beautiful home with us. We made memories that will last a lifetime and look forward to renting it again next summer.
