Fully refurbished beautiful 1 bedroom apt, central, fantastic finishings

This property has just been completely renovated and is brand new. The finish on the apartment is beautiful, and a lot of thought has been put into design and functionality - it is without question one of the nicest properties in Chamonix Sud.

Jonquille 317 is a third floor 1 bedroom apartment that has just undergone a complete refurbishment including a new kitchen, new bathroom, total redecoration, new furniture and new appliances. It provides stylish and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people, with one double bedroom, living and dining area (with 2 single sofa beds), kitchen, bathroom and separate WC.

The apartment has a balcony looking across to gardens with the peaks above.

Résidence le Jonquille is situated just to the south-west of Chamonix town centre. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the town square and within yards of the main bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. It is also very close to the main bus pick-up point for access to the slopes.

Excellent Apartment

The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a 2 week stay.

The management company were available and always helpful.

An ideal situation for exploring the Chamonix valley and for accessing the amenities in the town - shops and bars on the doorstep. Close to local train station, bus station and Aiguille du Midi telepherique (a must on a clear day!)

Parking available next to the building and underground (although we didn't explore this as we found a spot outside the building as we arrived and didn't need to move the car in the 2 weeks we were there). Make sure you get the free carte d'Hote for free public transport throughout the valley (available from management company)

Ideal for 2, probably very cosy if there were more!

Great base for Mountain Adventures!

This appartment is exactly as good as it looks - with a good quality finish throughout and attention to detail. We stayed here last August as a base for a romantic mountain getaway, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The layout makes best use of the space to ensure you have good facilities, including a washing machine and TV/DVD player!
This was the perfect location for our mountain adventures - being located next to the Aguille Midi cable and a few minutes walk to the other lifts systems. The appt is also well placed in Cham-Sud - with Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops all on your doorstep. All great news if the mountains bring rain!
We cooked most nights in the Appt - and had everything we needed, even a lovely dining room table and chairs for 4. After dinners, we enjoyed watching the sunset behind the mountains on the balcony. The bathroom is also very well finished - and the shower is excellent. The Appt also come with secure underground parking, which is a must a high season (summer or winter) as parking in Chamonix is not easy. It also ensures your car is either snow free in winter or cool in the summers.
In summary, we will definitely come back here and would recommend it to friends. If you want a well run, nice appartment in central Chamonix - this fits the bill. The booking process was easy, we were welcomed on arrival and hand back took 5 mins. This is a great base for Alpine Mountain adventures in the Chamonix valley at a great price. Thanks!

Lovely central apartment in Chamonix

Brilliantly placed comfortable flat in the centre of Chamonix. We enjoyed the most amazing spring skiing all over this varied valley, due to this lovely flat being so close to all amenities, public transport, underground parking, etc. Perfectly placed for adventurous types want to ski Mont Blanc, as it is right by the Aiguille du Midi cable car. The apartment itself is decorated in a chic contemporary style, has everything you might need during a ski holiday and is a great place to chill out at the end of the day and walking distance from fun apres-ski bars, restaurants and shopping.

Perfect one bedroom apartment

I found the apartment clean & in great condition, provided everything needed down to laundry facilities, lots of natural light and a good size balcony.
Perfectly situated, 5min walk to Mont Blanc gondola & close to the bus stop for all the other ski mountains in the area. 5 to 10min walk to a number of great restaurants.
I would highly recommend the property to anyone.

  • The bathroom has been fully refurbished just like the rest of the apartment. It features a full size bath with a wall mounted removable shower head and a glass shower screen - the shower has good pressure and there is lots of hot water. There is a washing machine, with a wooden surround and a sink basin mounted on top of the washing machine worktop for full use of space. The bathroom also has a wall mounted cabinet, 2 large mirrors, towel hooks and ventilation. The toilet is situated in a separate room next door to the bathroom.

  • The bedroom has a normal sized and comfortable 140cm x 200cm double bed, and there is a folding door separating it from the lounge where there is an additional sofa bed which converts into 2 separate single beds. One of the beds slides under the sofa, and therefore can be left made up, the other is actually the sofa mattress. Both singles are full size, comfortable 90cm x 190cm single bed mattresses. When the folding door is closed, both the bedroom and the lounge have separate doors to access the hallway for using the bathroom, or entering/leaving the apartment in privacy. The main bedroom has additionally a wardrobe, chest of draws, bedside lights, full length mirror, shelves, hooks, hair-dryer, electric heater, under-bed storage, and it's own window. Everything in this room is brand new for the 2012 winter season.
