Renewed apartment for 2/3 guests, 1 br. (queen size bed) 1 bh. 45m2

The appartment is housed in a completely renovated building located in the heart of El Born, within walking distance of the old town centre and the beach, with two lifts and secure entrance (doorman during working hours and 24-hour CCTV in the entrance hall). The renovation of the building took place 10 years ago, in one of the first renewal projects in el Born that was awarded a AD Prize for its design. The apartment, situated in the third floor, was refurbished 3 years ago. It is a one-bedroom flat of approx. 45m2, featuring a living room with an open kitchen and plenty of natural light, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The flat is equipped with A.C.(cool and hot), WTV, CD and DVD player, and WiFi . The kitchen is equipped with vitroceramic hobs, electric oven, combi fridge-freezer and a washing machine. The bedroom features a queen-size bed and the red sofa can occasionally be used as a double bed for guests. FCBarcelona tickets available under request

We spent 5 days in this great apartment. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay in Barcelona. It is very clean, modern, well equipped with washer/dryer, fast WiFi, comfortable bed, large shower, quiet nights, best location, large refrigerator, really it has it all. The owner Carmen (& her husband) is very professional, helpful and responsive.
We attended the Barcelona Cooking Class, a piano concert at Palau de La Musica and a Flamenco show....plus Gaudi.
We really enjoy renting apartments on vacation and Carmen's apartment is one of the nicest.

Lovely apartment ideal location for weekend away

This apartment has everything you need for a great weekend in Barcelona; ideally located in the El Born district, less than 10 minutes walk from the central cathedral and Place de la Catalunya.

Sited in a quiet residential block, with bathroom, bedroom and kitchen/lounge together with TV and WiFi, this is the ideal place to take a breather after a hectic day's sight-seeing.

But there's too much to see in Barcelona to spend too much time here; less than 3 minutes away is the Picasso museum, and within 5 minutes leisurely stroll there are a range of restaurants and Tapas eateries.

The weather wasn't too kind on our first day, but we still managed an open-top bus tour - just make sure you choose one of the buses with a canvas top if the clouds look threatening!

Would also recommend a visit to the Gaudi designed apartment La Pedrera - the rooftop chimneys and water towers are a sight to behold.

Thanks Carmen for allowing us to stay in your flat; we would certainly come back again and have recommended it to our friends already.

Thank you so much for the use of the apartment. The apartment met all of our needs – the location in the heart of the nightlife and walking distance to the city center and the beach was wonderful, and the apartment was comfortable, quiet and serene. Carmen, your tips on supermarket, restaurants/pastry shops were also most helpful. My sisters and I very much enjoyed our stay! Thanks again.

Brilliant place in great area at great price!

We have just had the pleasure of staying in this lovely appartment. It was very true to the description, in a brilliant location, close to all the city centre attractions & in a very vibrant & hip area. The appartment was very clean, well equipped, quiet and cosy. It was great to stay in the historic centre but in a newly renovated modern place. Yes there are no outside windows, but there was plenty of light & it kept the noise out & we were not in that much to need them anyway! The owners were very helpful, it was very easy to arrange for pick up and drop of key & a cot for our baby was arranged on request. Could not recommend it highly enough for someone, who is looking for great value place in a quiet corner of the city centre!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
