The 'COVI', beautifully renovated luxury apartments are within a late neoclassical palace in the first half of the nineteenth-century in the quaint old town of Gallipoli.
Thanks to a careful work of restoration has been kept almost intact architectural elements typical of the period, in rooms adorned with antique 'vaults' (the ultimate expression of artisan and constructive of the place between nineteenth and twentieth century), alternate environments where the expert hands of artisans of the ceiling are adorned with nice star ceilings.
The 3 apartments, with direct input from the road, at 80 meters from the sea and from the beach, have recently been totally renovated and finely furnished and adapted to accommodate from 2 up to 5 people.
All apartments have a floor area of about 70 square meters. The access to the apartments is provided by two main roads: one running along the perimeter walls of the old town on the waterfront and the other cuts the old city center directly to the palace. The proximity to the sea makes the location used by families, groups of friends and couples, in a equipped large space and independence even for food during the peak periods of tourist flow.
Our location is in the heart of the old town where you can find walking any service: restaurants, bars, pharmacy, all kinds of shops (laundry, clothing, tobacco, food, etc.) and after the bridge that connects the old town with the new town of Gallipoli, any other need. That makes available more time to dedicate to the beach or sightseeing in the interior of Salento, full of history and attractions characteristics (farms, festivals, etc..), or the possibility to use the well-equipped golf Acaya, or horseback riding, or cycling, etc.. At night Gallipoli is the center of reference of the whole province and its summer visitors, for the presence of numerous nightclubs, concerts of famous singers and groups and restaurants for all tastes. This happens throughout the year and therefore also in low and mid season. But if you are looking for total silence, solitude and like almost always to use your car, then you should try one of the many nice apartments along the sea or in the countryside outside the city center, where, however, have to be guaranteed basic services even out of high season (light , heating, cleaning, laundry, etc.)
But the sea and its attractions are the real strength of Gallipoli: sandy areas alternate with rock, emerald color and crystal clear water, that has nothing to envy to those of the Caribbean. During the period of sea baths (June to October), a myriad of private bathing establishments, organized also for the evening happy hour, are alternated with areas of open access. Obviously there are all water sports: snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rental, etc..
