We rented this Villa with another family and had a wonderful time. The house was clean, in great shape and was exactly what we needed for our young kids. The kitchen and house are well equiped, and there is a grill outside for use. The bedrooms was fantastic and bathrooms were nice size and clean. It has all the comforts of home and much much more. Loved the outside sofa arrangement. The maid service kept the rooms spotless, and requesting cooks made for an even more relaxing stay as they kept the kitchen clean. The food was excellent. My husband and I would go back tomorrow if we could.

Ric was so helpful in making our family trip fun for everyone. He suggested activities and made sure our birthday celebration was memorable.

I stayed in this rental for 12 days in August of 2012, and I have to say it was the best rental I've ever had. Not only was the house itself spectacular, but Ricky and his staff are top notch and do everything they can to make you feel at home. They really treated us like we were family and they gave us great tips on places to go and things to do in Patong. They also took care of our scooter rental so we didn't have to leave our passports with a company that we didn't know, which was a huge help! The house is also in a great location, just up the hill from the center of town which gives you some peace and quiet while also being just 2 mins from the heart of town. We even changed our plans at the end of our trip and stayed a few days extra and Ricky was more than accomidating! Anything we needed he took care of, and was always asking us if there was anything he could do for us. I've been to Patong many times and when i go back, I will only stay at one of Ricky's rentals!! You will not beat the service, location and beauty of his houses!!

IT has taken me over a month to write this review because I was trying to find the perfect words. RIC LAKE and his team (Including his perfect mother!!! - if you do not get to know this woman you missed a jewel of Thailand. She is so wonderful) have created HEAVEN. The thing that I think that this site does not really review is the overall aura of this location. People fail to say as soon as you walk the grounds of BAAN HEAVEN you can feel the stress melt away. RIC LAKE and entire team have and on a daily basis create a sanctuary of relaxation and FUN!!! I would never stay anywhere else on any beach in Thailand. Its perfect!. The experience of having your own SANCTUARY is the only way to see this location. other villas are around but BAAN HEAVEN is an experience. This is not just a place to rest your head. This is the place where you experience Thailand. I wish that i could pick one thing i loved the most. Every corner has something interesting and fun. IF you overlook this location then you have missed out. The view, being away from the center of the city, everything just everything was planned perfectly to create the experience of a lifetime!!! To show how much we liked it, we begged RIC and extended our stay by TWO days changing our entire trip just to experience this location a little longer!!!Perfect for family or just a friends get away. I can not say enough great things!!!

When I make plans to stay somewhere you've never been and so far away from home, I get nervous about whether the home will accommodate my needs, etc. Do not be nervous about renting this house. The location is fabulous. Unbelievably beautiful. My family and I stayed here for my 40th birthday and we cannot stop talking about how much fun we had. 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms so everyone had space and we weren't on top of each other all the time. Great kitchen that opens to the living room and dining room so we could cook, clean, play cards and be all together. Breakfast out on the deck, warm winds, palm trees. And - the best part was the pool - it seemed to always have a family member relaxing in it. This was the perfect family vacation. HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!! Popovic family.

It is hard to know where to start! I was amazed at the villa upon arrival! The villa itself was a dream come true! The views of Patong Beach from the balcony take your breath away! The cleanliness and general appearance of the villa were spectacular. The upkeep of the pool and grounds was immaculate. The internet provided was very fast and worked everywhere on the grounds. There were literally some days when we were in paradise (Phuket) and we decided that hanging out at the villa would be preferable to going out and seeing the sights. That is how impressive this villa really is - a highlight of it's own. Transportation into town was never an issue because the tuktuk and taxi cabs drive by a main road that is far enough from the villa that you don't hear them at night, but close enough that it is an easy walk to get to. Again, I cannot say enough great things about how fantastic my stay here was! When we arrived, Ric (the owner) met us on site and gave us very useful information about how to get around town, the things to avoid as tourists and the attractions that were worth the money. He was one of the most genuine and likeable people I have ever had the pleasure to meet! This compliment goes out to his staff as well. Any need we had - great or small - was seen to immediately. One of the best parts of our trip (and we saw a lot of Thailand) was getting to know Ric. I cannot speak highly enough of him or his villa. No doubt at all. The stay of a lifetime. I am not doing Ric or his villa justice with my limited use of words here. When I go back to Thailand I will absolutely contact Ric Lake again.
