Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cottage in Prescott - Little Yellow Cottage
Two Bedroom, One Bath Cottage Within Walking Distance To Downtown Prescott.
Our “little yellow cottage” is a few blocks from the historic Prescott town square with its many events, shops and restaurants. It is a beautifully furnished craftsman style cottage that was originally built in 1935 and completely restored in 2009.
A wide front porch with comfortable wicker chairs looks out on the cottage garden, which provides a happy welcome to our bright and airy two bedroom, one bath abode. The back yard is landscaped to enhance the natural setting of Ponderosa pine trees and the huge out-cropping of granite boulders.
The dining and living rooms are complete with a gas fireplace, cable television and DVD. Wireless internet is provided. The quaint kitchen contains a gas stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and laundry facilities. The cottage sleeps 4 comfortably (one queen and one full size bed) outfitted with bedding and comforters.
The open floor plan is perfect for a couple's get-a-way, business retreat, family vacations and entertaining.
Prescott is the perfect vacation get-away. There is so much to do in Prescott. Just walking around town is a great way to spend the day. In the evening you can do country Western dancing or contemporary dancing at one of the 'Saloons? on Whisky Row or take in live theatre.
Prescott hosts annual events. Just a few are: the April Whiskey Row off-road mountain bike races (epic ride); May has the Highland Games; June includes Frontier Days and the Prescott rodeo, 4th of July celebration and parade and Prescott's Indian art market; August has the Prescott film festival and cowboy poets gathering at Sharlot Hall; Even December in Prescott boasts of the Acker holiday music festival and Christmas courthouse lighting and parade to name a few. All that plus sports with 3 lakes close by and art and special events monthly downtown. Also, we are proud to include Sharlot Hall, the historic Elk's Theatre and Yavapai College, which offer special events during the year.

About Harry Brown
We have always loved Prescott and when I had an opportunity to accept a job up here in 2008, it gave us a chance to look for a place that complemented our previous trips abroad.
Harry Brown purchased this cottage in 2009
Why Harry Brown chose Prescott
We fell in love with our Little Yellow Cottage because of the craftsman touches and the natural setting of pine trees and large out cropping of boulders, yet a short walk to all the happenings at the town square.
