About Jamie Lou Wamsley

As a native to Arizona, I was born at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital and have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona for $# years,...I'm not telling you my age! :-) I attended Kiva Elementary School, Saguaro High School, and Arizona State University. My husband JT is from Sidney, Nebraska (he's a big Cornhusker fan). We met 15 years ago at the gym, and over the years we produced two beautiful daughters, and somehow found ourselves also living with two dogs, two fish, two chickens, two bearded dragons and my mother next door. Funny how that works, isn't it?

Jamie Lou Wamsley purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Jamie Lou Wamsley chose Williams

When my husband and I arrived in Williams, Arizona, we immediately fell in love! With a simple three hour drive from our home in Scottsdale, AZ, this gem of a town has become my home away from home. Only in Williams will you find a scenic railway tour, a drive-thru wildlife park, wild west entertainment, Route 66 and extraordinary way to enjoy the majestic Grand Canyon.

Family vacation with the kids

  • 5 out of 5
Our three night stay was fantastic. The cabin was beautiful, very clean, and the kitchen had everything needed for our stay. The property near the cabin was great for walks and our kids loved exploring the area. Williams is a great little town and we enjoyed the restaurants. All in all the best rental experience we have had. We hope to be back again.

Great location for exploring Grand Canyon, Sedona and Flagstaff. Williams is a great little town on Route 66 with a number of restaurants and tourist sites. Everyone in our group really enjoyed Bearizona.

The Perfect Vacation Home

  • 5 out of 5
This cabin is at a perfect location, about one hour drive to both Grand Canyon National Park and Sedona. It sits on a secluded lot besides a national forest but only 5 minutes away from the historic Williams downtown so it's very easy to get groceries and other supplies. The surroundings are beautiful with abundant desert plants and wildlife. With no light pollution at all we were able to observe a huge number of stars at night. The wood log cabin is very spacious and absolutely beautiful with everything meticulously designed. For the comfort of guests owner paid a lot of attention to details from fully supplied kitchen to fresh flowers. We will definitely rent this place again when we come back to Arizona.

Family vacation to see the Grand Canyon Canyon

  • 5 out of 5
We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties and this was by far the best.
We like to have breakfast and dinner at home and this kitchen was nicely stocked. There were also some spices and salt and pepper shakers and we've been in some properties were there was absolutely zilch.
we had plenty of room to spread out and with the warm weather we were able to enjoy the deck for morning coffee and evening board games. One night a Momma elk and her two babies came to drink out of the pond!
Although the Sun rises through the bedroom windows ( I am not an early rider lol) we would definitely come back to this home again!
