Perfect location and excellent property

This apartment was a perfect fit for our family of 6.....2 adults and 4 children ages 9 months old to 10 yrs. of age. Upon booking the property, I received a call from the management company to go over details regarding check in since our flight would arrive later in the evening. Initially, I was instructed that we would have to come to the office to sign paperwork the following morning. I indicated that this would not be possible since we have 4 young children and it would be an inconvenience. Therefore, arrangements were made that a representative would come by the apartment the following day between 12-1pm. Instructions for accessing the building and key for the apartment were emailed to us in very good detail. We had no problems upon arrival. The following morning, we received a call to make sure we arrived and all was as it should be. Then, we were told that we would have to come by the office to sign paperwork after all despite previous arrangements. This took quite a bit out of our day having to locate the office. The office is located off Las Ramblas at Catalunya Square. This inconvenience would be my only complaint. As guests of the property, the management team, as hosts, should have come to us. That aside, we absolutely loved the location. A fantastic bakery was located 2 doors away. My kids loved going there each morning! The Supermerkcat is right below to easily purchase milk, cereal, etc... It's opened until 10pm. The street is quiet at night and full of fabulous shops and Tapa's restaurants. There is a boutique hotel right down the street, which has been listed in the top 25 hotels in the world by Conde Nast. Their restaurant is excellent....white table clothes and true Catalunya cuisine. Even our kids enjoyed it and were made welcome, as most all restaurants in BCN are of children. The apartment was very clean and just as the pictures accurately reflect the appearance. It's very well maintained. The roof top terrace would be very lovely in the warmer months and even has a shower. It was perfect for a crawling 9 month old....a lift to access the apartment, wood floors, no worries about baby getting into trouble. A cot and high chair were provided, although the highchair is cheaply assembled and they could do with a better made one. We certainly will want to stay here again during our next visit to BCN.
