Le View Rosier ( The Old Rose bush), is in the heart of the Mediterranean Pyrenees, surrounded by nature, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity or take advantage of the numerous outdoor activities available. Situated in St Laurent De Cerdans, one of the oldest and most historic Catalan Villages, at the southern end of the Tech Valley, on the flanks of the sacred Canigou peaks of the Pyrenees. Five kilometres from the border of Spain – just about as far south as you can get! The Mediterranean beaches of France and the Costa Brava are within easy reach. The house is south facing, centrally heated and the benefit of an open fire if required. NO PETS PLEASE.
Down stairs is open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped. We have Sky TV that get most of the English channels. The locals enjoy wild boar hunting inseason. Or you can just enjoy relaxing in the garden- we hope to get a hot tub soon!
Golf: The domain de falgos famous golf course is situated very close to the Spanish border and has an altitude of 3500 feet. It offers, an 18 hole golf course, golf lessons and spas. There is a 3 star hotel and self catering apartments. The restaurant looks out over the putting green and the even more stunning bay of Roses in Spain. This challenging course runs through the south-facing valleys on the Catalan estate of Falgos close to the Spanish border underneath Mt. Canigou. Visitors are welcome on the course and the practice facilities which include a 15 bay the driving range with six covered, practice bunkers, putting green and approach green. The 18 hole course has a par of 70 and measures 5177 metres (5700 yards) off the back tees. Golf competitions at the 18 hole Falgos Golf Course are organised by the Golf Club Vallespir. There are swimming facilities, spas and everything for the ladies while the gentlemen enjoy their golf.
