Rosies Place is a completely renovated studio apartment with a luxurious look and feel, especially designed for people who want to have a nice holiday break in Amsterdam.

Rosies Place is situated right in the city center of Amsterdam, within the so-called canal ring. Our house is tucked away in a small quite street of the Jordaan. Around the corner you will find restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, markets and lot’s more. Also the museums are close by. Even closer is the Anne Frank House.

Rosies Place is on the first floor of our house, accessible by a steep staircase. It’s more than suitable for 2/3 adults or 2 adults with 2 small children. It has a king size bed and a sofa which we can convert into a single bed or double bed. You have a dining bar, which sit 2/3 adults and a design rocking chair. The bathroom has a big rain and hand shower. Towels, soap and shampoo (from Rituals) are provided for you. If you need clean towels just drop them outside in the washing bin and you will have clean ones immediately.

The terrace has SUN ! What else can we say. Sun in the morning for your coffee, sun during your lunch, sun in the afternoon drinking your beer or wine. But he it’s Holland so keep your fingers crossed that the sun will shine :-)

On arrival you will find in Rosies Place :

A nice bottle of white wine (or red if you prefer)

Hi, We are Astrid (43) and Rick (42), we have two sons, Joris (11) and Jesse (4). Rick is born and raised in Amsterdam and I moved 25 years ago to Amsterdam. Before we settled down we have travelled the world and stayed also at other people houses. We like to think that by staying with locals you’ll see a different city. Of course we will help you to explore the city and if we have the time we will show you around. If the weather permits, and if our schedule allows it we can go for a boot trip or have a drink at our rooftop.

Astrid and Rick purchased this studio in 2001

It was our dream that one day a small piece of Amsterdam would be ours. Once back in Amsterdam we decided to chase our dream. 13 years ago we bought our town house, which was build in 1897 and stood the test of time really well.

Located in the best part of Amsterdam, called the Jordaan. Our street is really quiet but around the corner you will see the most picturesque street with all little restaurants, bars and shops with in the background the Wester Church. For us one of the reasons to buy the house.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN AMSTERDAM

  • 5 out of 5
This was by far the best place I've stayed in Europe. My mom and I vacationed in Amsterdam for 5 days and stayed at Rosie's Place. Astrid (the owner) was beyond helpful- answering all our questions about local transportation and sights in the area. The apartment is in a very quiet neighborhood but also close to many restaurants, shops and bakeries- we were never bored. The place was very clean and had many amenities such as wine, tea and cookies when we arrived, radio, Wi-Fi and TV. The sun came out one evening so we were even able to enjoy the balcony. Great place to stay and both my mom and I highly recommend it!

BEAUTIFUL APT - GREAT LOCATION

  • 5 out of 5
Ditto to all the great reviews already written. Everything about this place is perfect for two people. The owners are awesome and have done a beautiful remodel on the unit. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of goodies, and we cooked dinner in several nights. The quality of the bedding and linens is amazing, as is the incredible shower! The private patio was the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon wine. Good location. I'd definitely come back here.

FABULOUS APARTMENT IN THE HEART OF IT!

  • 5 out of 5
Rosie's Place is a fabulous apartment within easy walking distance of the centre of Amsterdam, but was also very quiet and peaceful, so a good nights sleep was possible to recharge the batteries for more sightseeing the following day.
The apartment was in immaculate condition, very clean and tidy - it truely does look just like the photos. The owners were fabulous hosts, very welcoming, helpful and informative.
I would definitely recommend this accomodation and will definitely be looking at its availability when I return to Amsterdam.

PERFECT APARTMENT, PERFECT LOCATION

  • 5 out of 5
After very tight quarters aboard a week-long river cruise, we were very happy to move in to Rosie's Place--a beautifully decorated, bright, spotlessly clean and comfortable apartment. Plush towels, great shower, comfy bedding and very well appointed kitchen made our stay very enjoyable. The neighborhood is a quiet, residential area but within a few short blocks of many very good restaurants and shops. The Anne Frank house and Westerkirk area also a few blocks away (I loved listening to the church bells), and in fact we walked everywhere--to the museum district, flower market, the train station--never used public transportation until we left. A tram stop is two blocks away.
As with all Amsterdam houses, the flight of steps up to the apartment is steep with short steps--can be difficult with large, heavy luggage. We are in mid 60's and had no problem.
Astrid and Rick were easy to contact, answered all our questions, are most helpful and friendly, and met us promptly when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amsterdam!

WONDERFUL

  • 5 out of 5
This is a perfect apartment for a visit to this city. The area is quiet, picturesque, and filled with wonderful little restaurants and take away food stores as well as being within walking distance to most of the city and near public transportation which is very easy to use.
Everything one could need for a comfortable place to stay in a city is in this apartment. The owners couldn't be nicer or more attentive in answering emails and questions. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the place is spotless. Also included and appreciated are bathroom soaps and kitchen cleaning aids to say nothing of coffee pods wine, beer , cookies and candy. For 2 people the is a comfortable, small city apartment. The stairs are not a problem and the owners do help carry your luggage up the one flight.
