Large Modern 6 Bedroom Luxury House In Ancient Coastal Town.

Wow! We loved this house and will be back. Booked a last minute break and were not disappointed. Owners went out of their way to meet us late on the Friday night and showed us how everything worked and how to use the Hot Tub safely -it was ready, hot, and waiting for us which was amazing after a long drive. We now all want one at home, a massive plus throughout the weekend and literally spent hours in it. The gardens were big and well looked after and private, which was nice for hot tub use. Plenty of parking space - we had 5 cars, which easily fitted on the drive. The house was immaculate, spacious and had everything we needed to be totally comfortable, the heating was on when we arrived and it was very cosy. We were a bit concerned about the appliances after reading a review saying the dishwasher and fridge were temperamental - but we had no issues and there are actually 3 fridges, one under unit in the kitchen (built in), one small and one tall fridge/freezer in the utility room and all worked fine. The showers worked fine for our group. There is an ancient castle directly opposite and we walked round it which was lovely and took about 40 minutes. We didn't have children in our group this time but noticed a little park over the road which would be ideal for those with children. The Masons Arms pub, literally 1 minute walk away, was fun on the Saturday night, cocktails and games of pool amused all! We had a great time and were well looked after and thought the house was awesome all round. The only down point was there was no broadband there when we stayed, but the owners said they were having it put in as they keep getting asked for it so that will be great next time we visit. A final point to mention was that we received our housekeeping deposit back in full within 7 days - with an offer of FREE hot tub use if we make another booking within 3 months which we definitely intend to do.
