Breweries: epic brewing, redrock brewing, and high west whiskey distillery (high west is if you are headed to park city area)
Restaurants: trio, gracies pub, metropolitan, fresco, ichiban sushi, bambara, ruthschris steakhouse, sugarhouse bbq, and the lion house at temple square are just some of our favorites. There are many more options and more familiar chains nearby (like a chilis, jamba juice and village inn right down the street less than 5 blocks away).
My husband & I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary & Salt Lake City is our home. Our goal is to provide personalized touches that make our guests feel at home & ensure they have a clean, comfortable stay with THE closest access to all the action downtown.

Upstairs has lots of light, & two bedrooms plus full bath. Main floor features solid hand-scraped hickory wood flooring, large window seat, 38' tv with Comcast cable & wireless internet. Beautiful updated kitchen with matching stainless steel appliances. Downstairs bedroom has it's own bath & shower - providing guests separate enough sleeping areas for privacy.
Great sunlight through large windows & high ceilings on the main floor & upstairs. The window seat in the living room is perfect to enjoy the historic charm, open floor plan and & modern finishes. It is close enough to downtown (literally right down a hill & you are there) and located on the East side of the valley. Don't be fooled by other folks vague location description. Check out the maps!
(*LOCALS TIP: You don't want to spend too much time on I-15 in traffic or commuting from the West side of I-15 if you can avoid it.* Being so close to all the great restaurants and grocery options also really adds to the experience.)
We had three friend meet up in Salt Lake City for a week of spring skiing. The house worked out very well for us. With the two levels and the finished basement, there was plenty of room for each of us to stretch out. The house was clean and included all the amenities we needed. The convenient location was near the light rail and downtown is a short trip away. The price was very affordable, too.
It is very comfortable and clean. They even shoveled the walk and driveway when it snowed. There are two sections of the house--complete with bedroom and bath. This worked well for our family.
We had a family emergency. The hosts accommodated a number of last minute changes quickly and with grace.
A wonderful property. Immaculate. Modern, perfectly appointed kitchen for both simple cooking and full dinner parties for my visiting colleagues. The layout of the home would be comfortable for 3 to 6 visitors. The location is absolutely ideal - no car necessary and truly a short walk from Trax, UTA and university shuttles. Lovely neighborhood for walking. I called this home while in SLC for nearly 5 weeks of professional business and study. Misha and Tony were wonderful hosts - available when needed, yet respected my privacy. Thank you!
This is our second time staying in the house. The location is perfect. Easy transport, close to amenities and yet still on a quiet street. The space feels incredibly welcoming after a long day of work (business travel for the week is the reason for our stay). The hosts are excellent and have been very accommodating each time we have stayed.
I just got back from a week long stay. My group of 5 was attending a convention at Salt Palace and opted to share a home where we could save money on meals and have space to relax in the evening. This home certainly met our needs. Tony and Misha were prompt to respond to any questions prior to travel, and Tony came by right after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed.
The property was as described - a nice kitchen (open to the dining area), nice living area, wifi, etc. We had all we needed. Although we did not use the trax, it was nearby.
Would definitely recommend this property!
