This charming 1940s bungalow sits on a huge fenced lot. You will love the cozy feel of the home, and your kids and pets will love the yard. Our guests have described it as a "Delightful Cottage", a "Perfect Retreat" and a "Fantastic Getaway". We agree, and we often use it when it's unoccupied. It is well appointed with fluffy towels, high quality sheets, and two of the most comfortable beds you will ever experience. We received so many nice comments about them that we bought identical ones for our other rentals.

Our guests love the roomy interior, the hardwood floors, the well stocked kitchen and the big screened back porch. The yard is full of mature trees, and there is plenty of wood for the fire pit. There are a lot of vintage features in the house and everything is in good working order. It's convenient to I-40, and you can get just about anywhere in town in 15 minutes or less.

This home is located across from a convenience store on a fairly busy street. Mike, the proprietor, is incredibly friendly and helpful, and he is a great resource if you need something or if you have questions about the area. It's so convenient to walk across the street for snacks and supplies! The store closes at 10 and things are quiet and peaceful at night.

Wonderful Place to Stay with the Whole Family

This house is perfect for a pet owner! The large fenced yard is wonderful. As for the house, it was extremely clean and comfortable. The location is superb - very close to everyting - The Biltmore Estate and Downtown. Definitely will stay here again if it's available. Thank you for making our whirlwind weekend visit so easy without any stress!!

Pleasant. Large fenced in yard -- however some fence areas need repair in back of property. Fan in dining room didn't work. A/C broken for 4 days--replaced with new unit. Located on busy road--a lot on traffic during business hours. Close access to I-40 & I-26 to get around Asheville.

We rented the house for a stay in Asheville for a wedding. It was a great location for having to go between South Asheville and Downtown. The yard was quite large, but be careful if you have a bigger dog, because they could hop the fence. Beds and couch was comfortable and the place was decently clean.<br/><br/>The only downside is there is a convenient store right across the street. Although it was convenient to walk across the street for food/drinks, the cars and people are rather noisy and there was a fight right in front of the house when we stayed.

Fantastic getaway for mountain biking couple with dogs

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for a month and we were beyond thrilled with this rental. The house was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were so comfortable and the heat worked great despite it being an older house. The yard was huge and our dogs loved it. The corner is a little busy, but you won't notice it all all when you are inside. The proximity to the Bent Creek and Pisgah trails make this the perfect location for mountain bikers, and with it being so close to the highway you can easily zip over to any other trails near Asheville. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with. If we return to Asheville, we were certainly try to stay here again.

Location

Located near the Buncombe County Sports Park, this West Asheville property is convenient to I-40 and is just a quick drive to the heart of West Asheville. Asheville is a small city, so any location within the city limits provides convenient access to downtown and other attractions like the Biltmore House, the Folk Art Center, local brew pubs, mountain biking trails, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. All of these are no more than fifteen minutes away.
