Located in beautiful Old Colorado City near the southern edge of the Rocky Mountains, easily accessible by car as well as by air through both Colorado Springs Airport and Denver International Airport—this is where convenience and comfort unite. Welcome to a fully renovated 1898

3 Bedroom, 2 bath house. Enjoy Central Air Conditioning through out entire home. All bedrooms have Doctor's Choice Queen Beds and Ralph Lauren Sheets, Baby Crib available. The Living room features a Pottery Barn custom wrap around couch and Whiskey color leather ottoman. Five television's through out the house including the Kitchen. Landscaped/fenced in backyard and manicured front yard, brand new weber gas grill. Large high end washing machine and dryer, owner supplies detergent and fabric softner. Refrigerator/freezer with front door ice maker and purified water system. Comfortable Front Porch, great views pikes peak and wildlife, enjoy a nice quiet evening walking a short distance to great shoppes/boutiques and many restaurants/bars/ice cream/candy shoppes.

Maid Service available daily if interested.

With over 300 days of sunshine each year and virtually no humidity, Colorado Springs provides the perfect backdrop to explore the timeless beauty of the West. Historic Old Colorado City is less than 3 blocks away from the house and less than a 4 minute walk, during the summer every Saturday from 7AM-Noon we have a Farmer's Market with local produce, meats, cheese, bread and flowers. Throughout the summer every Thursday at Bancroft Park we have concerts and all summer long we have festivals and a Friday Night Art Walk.

Colorado Springs Trip September 2014

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us the 19th to the 24th.. We had a wonderful time in Colo. and so enjoyed coming back to a home in the evenings. Everything we could possibly need was available to us there and we even had deer on the front lawn visit us our first morning there. It is apparent that you work hard to make your rental property a"real home away from home" for those who stay there. And it was so convenient to downtown, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, ManitouSprings, and all the freeways to go outside Colorado Springs. We would definitely recommend it to others, too! It was truly a wonderful experience.

More spacious than expected

Our group of six stayed in the little house for six days. This is the first time we have reserved vacation lodging in this manner. We relied heavily on previous reviews and pictures and were not disappointed. The neighborhood dates from the 1890's. I wondered whether the age of the home would stir up the allergies of several in our group, but no one had a bit of difficulty. Our outdoor surroundings were peaceful at all times and the few people we saw were friendly. Most of the kitchen supplies I took with me weren't necessary. We enjoyed the variety of dishes and pans. The grandchildren, ages 5 and 3, were delighted to have their own room upstairs; and they always looked forward to bath time in the large tub up there. All ages particularly enjoyed the Mollie Kathleen Mine in Cripple Creek. I think the children would have chosen to climb on rocks in Garden of the Gods every day. The light from the lamppost in the front yard was very helpful when we came home after dark. Christina (owner) was always quick to answer our questions during the months before we stayed in the house. Characteristics of the house we particularly appreciated: The two baths, fenced backyard, quiet surroundings, tidy and cheerful exterior, washer and dryer and easy access to most of the places we visited. It felt like home!

Great time in Colorado Springs

This was a cute house and perfect for our family's trip. We used this as our home base to visit all the great things in Colorado Springs - Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, USAF Academy, USOC Training Center, Manitou Springs and Colorado City. The kids' favorites were the Garden of the Gods (don't miss Red Rock Canyon Open Space as well) and the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine up in Cripple Creek. The house was as advertised and it's the best house in the neighborhood, great job fixing it up Christina. We also had a mule deer family visiting every morning, very cute.

Exceeded our expectations.

We stayed here with my in-laws and everyone was impressed with the home. The first thing we all noticed was the small attention to detail Christina has thought off. The house was relaxing and all the bedrooms provided an excellent place to rest after a day of sight seeing. While the back yard is beautifully landscaped and relaxing, we found we spent most of the mornings and nights sitting on the front porch. The fully equipped kitchen was such a convenience and luxury.

Do not hesitate to stay at this home, you will enjoy it's location to the major attractions and walking distance to the historical district.

If you enjoy hiking, be sure to visit Red Rock Canyon off Hwy 24 for scenic views and great trails.

Three Generation Getaway

My parents, my husband and two of my three children and I had a wonderful four nights in this perfectly located cottage. We were in town for my son's college graduation. There was plenty of room for all, the beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed. It has a beautiful garden! We loved sitting on the porch with its view of Pike's Peak.
