This condominium unit features a new Memory Foam Queen size bed, a couch that turns into a full size bed. new 32 inch flat screen television with Blu Ray DVD Player (can watch Netflix online, Hulu, etc from wi-fi tv), wireless internet access, modern and updated bath, coffee maker, microwave, blender, a rice cooker/vegetable steamer, electric skillet and a sandwich/panini maker.
Guests have everything they need to cook almost any meal.
Our privately owned studio has it's own Wi-Fi so there is no need to pay the $15 amenity fee at the resort.
Our condo features tile flooring throughout, and best of all; a lanai with a spectacular white water view of the blue Pacific Ocean. It is a perfect spot to watch the sunrise with an early breakfast or the approaching evening with a glass of wine. Romance is in the air!...
Outside you can relax under the shaded palapas by the gorgeous ocean-side swimming pool or jacuzzi and enjoy the full service tiki bar. There are also BBQ gas grills for an evening cookout.

Islander on the Beach is located on the beautiful Coconut Coast of Kauai, on the edge of wonderful Kapa'a Town, one of the best areas on the island for shopping and restaurants. It is also located only ten minutes from the airport and is centrally located between the North Shore and its dramatic beaches, mountains and waterfalls and the South Shore with its additional shopping, restaurants and sunny beaches. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance of your condo including the wonderful Coconut Marketplace. And outside your door? Your own sunny beach to enjoy when you are not out visiting the wonderful sites of Kauai.
Ready for some activities? Everything is close to the Coconut Coast including the wonderful new East Side Bike Path that eventually will lead from Lydgate Park to Kealia Beach. This ocean front bike and foot path provides miles of enjoyment for those who stroll or ride its broad path from one end of Kapa'a to the other.
On site at the Islander on the Beach enjoy a tropical pool with cabana bar, restaurant and gift shop as well as acres and acres of beautifully maintained grounds. A 3% fee is added to all credit card payments.

We fell in love with paradise and decided to own a vacation rental to let others enjoy the natural beauty and many activities the area offers. We manage the property ourselves and love sharing the warm aloha spirit with others.

Islander on the Beach is centrally located on the island-close to the airport, restaraunts and shopping. Easy access to the North Shore, South Shore and West Shore.
Owners are nearby and available with activities suggestions, fun ideas, ect. We speak English and Spanish. Hablamos Inglés y Español.
I've returned to Kauai nearly every year since my first visit 17 years ago. The last 5 years I've stayed at various units at the Islander and always enjoy the convenient location. This unit has the best view of any we've been in for a great price. This is truly a ocean view, and I've loved opening my eyes in the morning and the first thing I see is the ocean. The owner is attentive, thoughtful and her care shows in the nice touches, the great communication, and we look forward to staying here again!
Thank you Lily. My husband and I were very happy with our choice. Loved sitting on the lanai for coffee in the morning. You have a nice view of the ocean. It's a great spot to divide time between the north and south ends of the island! We went to snorkel at Lydgate Beach (nice and protected) It was nice to have the hot tub and the grounds are well kept. We met some really nice people down by the pool. Thank you again, Lily. I cannot think of any thing that we were missing for our stay.
We enjoyed very much during our stay at this beautiful condo. Our hosts are great, providing all the needed information before our arrival. The location is the very best. Nice ocean view, beach is just there. Very beautiful walk trail along the beach too. It is centrally located in the island, easy access to airport or any where on island. Plus the rate is so reasonable.

Very clean and comfortable condo from which to base exploration of lovely Kauai. The third floor location was very quiet and has a spectacular view of the pool, resort landscaping, and ocean. A very enjoyable stay!
After looking at many units at the Islander, I chose this condo unit owned by Lily and Justin. It is a corner facing unit with views of the ocean and pool. This condo exceeded the offerings of other condos in this unit by far. The owners, Lily and Justin, were amazingly accommodative and provided me with a sun umbrella when I asked even though it was not included as a listed amenity! They were easy and a pleasure to deal with. The unit has it's own wi-fi, full utentils (for more than two people definitely), glasses, mugs, wineglasses, blender, toaster, coffemaker, microwave oven, plug in frying pan, rice cooker, cutting board, knives, scissors (and more) all of which worked great. I didn't find the knives dull or blunt and used them daily to cut sandwiches and fruit for my smoothies. I think a traveller should bring their own kitchen knives if they are into serious cooking, but all the units in the Islander have small kitchenette set-ups so to expect a Food Network style kitchen is unreasonable. In reading the previous review by a disgruntled traveller, I'm not sure that they stayed in the same unit. It was clean, well stocked with extra towels, a flexible cooler, extra wet shoes, beach chairs and had ample space in the closet and dresser for clothes and packed items. There were plenty of extra blankets in drawers underneath the bed. Something to be aware of, look in all the drawers (underneath the kitchenette, underneath the closet and underneath the bed), which are stocked full of goodies for the traveller and thoughtfully planned out by the owners to make one's stay pleasant. I was even surprised there was complimentary sunblock and mosquito repellant in the bathroom. The kitchen had salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc which was awesome. I've stayed at other vrbo's and airbnb places and the amenities here definitely exceeded expectations. I cannot agree with the previous reviewer's negative comments which I think are exaggerated. This place was wonderful. In regard to their comment about being locked out for four hours, I don't see how that's possible as the owners provide you with two sets of keys (to ensure this does not happen) and a way you can access them with a passcode via a lockbox. I would take the previous review with a grain of salt.
We were happy to arrive at the condo, unfortunately we had to trash leftover food items and clean drawers and kitchen cabinets of cooking oil, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, sugar and other items left over from other renters. Had to buy a bottle of dawn to do this as the one provided was empty. The coffee maker and electric skillet have seen better days. The kitchen can use more cooking utensils as only one burned wooden spatula is available. Forget the two knifes as they are dull. The bathroom had personal left over toiletries. Dish set is for two and a half. The one and only closet was full with books, empty boxes and beach items with no space to hang clothes. Got locked out and it took four hours for assistance. We had to buy our own sheets, pillow cases and blanket for the sleeper sofa as none was provided. Was charged for cleaning condo, but had to clean it prior to using. No cleaning supplies are provided so buy your own to clean on way out.
Sorry we will never rent this condo again.

1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the unit or within 20 feet of the building.
2. Treat our property as you would have others treat your property.
3. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
4. Clean up after yourself- Do NOT bring sand into the condo. There is an outside shower by the pool for rinsing off self and belongings (boogie boards, etc.)
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. Ladies, please do not clean your makeup on the towels.
7. This unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
8. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
9. Pets are NOT allowed.
10. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit.
11. Hot Tub: [No children under the age of 14 permitted in hot tubs at any time] [without adult supervision]. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.
