1 bedroom apartment to sleep 2 adults in Central Cannes-12 minute walk to beach.

Very comfortable 1 bedroom modern apartment, 35 square metres (375 square feet), fully renovated in 2010. Large south facing terrace of 28 square metres (300 square feet), ideal for outdoor dining and sunning. Bedroom with new queen size double bed and large armoire, opening onto terrace. Living room, opening onto terrace, including new sofa. Dining table opens to accommodate 4 people comfortably. New kitchen with all new appliances, including an induction hob, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, mini-oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle. New bathroom with shower, make-up mirror and washing machine. Supermarket within 40 metres and services like restaurants, bakeries, and cafes within 100 meters. Pleasant 12 minute walk through central Cannes to famous public and private beaches and 12 minutes to the Palais des Festivals. Changeover day Saturday during high season. Earliest check-in time, 16H00 and latest check-out time, 11H00, unless otherwise agreed.

Our apartment is a 12 minute walk, slightly downhill, to the famous Croisette, the centre of Cannes' lively beach life and world class luxury shopping. Along the seaside there is a public beach, near the Palais des Festivals, where the Cannes film festival is held each year. There are also a large number of private beaches, offering quality beach chairs, umbrellas, waiter and restaurant services. At either end of the long beach are two large ports for sailing and motor yachts. On the way to the beaches you will pass other shopping areas and a covered market. The train and bus station are a 10 and 15 minute walk. The region has several well known hill top villages, museums and other famous beaches, including Nice, Antibes and St Tropez. There are daily boat services from the Cannes port to St Tropez, for day trips.

Notes

  • For all rentals there is a one time cleaning charge of 30 euros. Our guests prefer that we keep this charge low, since they are accustomed to leaving the apartment as clean as they found it. The modest 30 euros cleaning charge is for the washing and ironing of sheets and towels, and refreshing the apartment.
  • Deposit of 30% of total rent to reserve the apartment, by Paypal or bank transfer. Remainder of rent to be paid in cash at time of arrival, or by bank transfer two weeks before arrival. We also ask for a damage/inventory deposit of 300 euros, in cash at time of arrival, that will be reimbursed at checkout review, all being well.

A fantastic gem in Cannes!

My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights in June 2012 and had the most wonderful time. The apartment is immaculate, exactly like the photos. It has everything you could possibly need: fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with shower and toilet, living room, separate bedroom, and a huge terrace. The building also has an elevator, which is helpful for transporting suitcases.

It's located in a charming and quaint neighborhood only 10 minutes walking distance from the beaches along the famous Croisette. There's a supermarket across from the flat and many boulangeries and markets just a few steps away. By the end of our stay, we really felt like locals!

The owners, Jim and Agnes, are absolutely fantastic. So friendly, welcoming and helpful both before and during our stay. They really made an effort to make sure that the flat was warm and inviting upon arrival, which it was. We were sad to say goodbye in the end! We really enjoyed our stay at this flat and would absolutely stay here again!

Jim and Agnes are brillant owners and we had a fabulous time while staying in Cannes. The apartment is bright and clean, everthing is in order, fully equipped and very convenient around: supermarkets, fruts & vegetable, backery, bus stop, everything is just steps away. Anyhow, the most important thing impressed me is the owner, Jim. He is a very nice person and treats its quests with a warm heart. Me and my husband were both extremely happy with this home. I definitely will book the same place next time.

Light, airy, clean and convenient

I stayed in this apartment for 8 days over July 2010 and had a very pleasant time. The apartment is exactly as described in the information page, and the owners were exceedingly helpful and considerate in so many ways. The building and location is quiet and safe, and the apartment itself is fully renovated with everything one needs for a holiday. A supermarket is across the street and a bar and pharmacy downstairs. Excellent access to the beaches and port. Definitely would return.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
