Romantic apartment, next to main shopping street, inside the walls

We have made many trips to Italy, but our trip to Lucca was made especially memorable because of our stay Casa Gigi.
You step out of this restored Italian building and you are immediately immersed Into the smells, sounds and sights of Lucca's life. Many activities and wonderful restaurants are easily within walking distance.
The apartment is beautifully appointed with all amenities that you would need. The close proximity allows you to return to relax and regroup between outings. We found this especially relaxing while we were exploring the city.
It truly is a very special place and we look forward to staying in again.

Casa Gigi was a very special place to stay in a very special town that was made all that much easier by all the information the owners provide you when you visit this elegant apartment. Armed with their great list of places to visit, stores to shop in, things to do and introductions to the people in those businesses we were able to live like the locals and had a great time walking a short distance out our door to buy our veggies, bread, cheeses, meat and wine.

The accommodations are world class but in a very comfortable way. While we loved the restaurants in Lucca, we also had some great meals put together from our shopping trips nearby sitting around the table in the apartment. The apartment exceeds most expectation and is located in heart of the city. We stayed with another couple who we had never travelled with before and the apartment provides enough room to not always be in each other face. We ended up having the time of our lives.

During your stay Sidrak is there to help in any way he can. My only hesitation with giving this glowing review is purely selfish, I want to be able to stay there again and hope there will be some availability.

Casa Gigi is the perfect place to stay during a visit to Lucca. Lucca is a fantastic walking town and Casa Gigi is located right in the middle of everything. Just a few steps from the front door is Lucca's main shopping street where you will find a huge variety of bakeries, clothing stores, antique shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. An added bonus is that the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are large! You can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into decorating Casa Gigi. I have stayed here a couple of times and I've had a wonderful experience each time. It is the only place I will ever stay when I am in Lucca.
