2 bedroom detached villa to sleep 4 on the edge of a medieval circulade village

Located on the edge of a medieval circulade village, the property is in a quiet rural lane and nestles amongst grapevines, olive groves and sunflower fields. From the house and garden there are magnificent panoramic views of the countryside and the Pyrenees. The accommodation includes a large open plan living area with kitchen and doors leading to the terrace and the garden. The living area has two sofas, a TV with free to air UK channels and a DVD player. There is a well equipped kitchen with lots of storage and preparation space. 2 bedrooms one with 2 single beds the other a double bed plus ample storage space. A shower room with a walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet. The villa is well insulated and has electric heating making it comfortable all year round. The property shares a 3150m² plot with the owners’ house of which 350m² is a private garden for the villa including lawns, wooden terrace, seating area with stone built barbecue and plenty of parking.

Notes: There are walks and cycle routes locally and the tourist attractions of the Cathar castles and the canal du midi are easily reached. There is abundant wildlife including rare birds such as hoopoes, nightingales and bee-eaters. A range of shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets in the surrounding towns and villages are within a ten minute drive as well as a cafe & epicierie in the village supplying fresh bread. Mobile suppliers of fruits and vegetables, meats, fish and groceries visit the village throughout the week.

We have really enjoyed our holiday here. The views are magnificant and constantly changing! We saw lots of different birds in the hedges, a lovely quiet villa. Thank you both.
