Situated on the 3rd floor (no lift) in a beautiful and historical old building, this stunning and stylish apartment mixes old with new. Situated right in the heart of the trendy El Borne area in the adjacent street to the Picasso Museum. The Medieval front door leads you into this charming building and the apartment offers 110 sqm of space. 2 x double bedrooms with exterior french windows and fitted cupboards allow for friends or families to share. One of the bedrooms has 2 x single beds and the other 1 x double. It is possible to sleep 5 by using the Z-bed in the double bedroom. Original beams and soft furnishings enhance the space and natural light floods in through the many windows. An enormous sofa, dining area & fully equipped kitchen with 'island' hob will ensure that your Barcelona break is truly memorable. Right near metro Jaume I at one end and Parc Cituadella at the other, El Born has grown into being one of the most fashionable places in the city. Every day the cafes are packed and at night people move along to Passeig de Born to sample the many bars, all of which serve up a mean mojito, don't forget to stop at the famous Cava bar! El Born isn’t just about the nightlife, there is plenty of culture to be had as well. Medieval, winding streets, home to the Picasso museum and the Textile Museum which has a great little café with a terrace attached to it and the Santa Maria Cathedral which you can wander around in and maybe even catch a wedding, to name but a few. Other points of interest in the area are the many tapas bars lining C./ Argenteria, the arab baths at Passeig Picasso and the Gaudi inspired Parc Cituadella.   • 2013 Prices

    The price of the property per night is 120 Euros for 1-2 persons sharing. If you stay 10 nights or more there is a 10% discount given

    The price for the property is 160 Euros per night for 3-4 persons sharing. If you stay 10 nights or more there is a 10% discount given

    The price for the property is 180 Euros per night for 5 persons sharing. If you stay 10 nights or more there is a 10% discount given

    There is a 85 euro charge for the professional cleaning that takes place before arrival and for the freshly laundered towels and linen and to be met at the apartment with the keys. This fee is obligatory and is split between the cleaner and the check in staff if you check in before 9pm.

    There is an additional 30 euro check in fee after 9pm.
  • There is an additional 50 euro check in fee after midnight.

    How to book:

    25% is due at time of booking via pay-pal. You do not need a paypal account to transfer money.
    Pay will incur a fee, this is usually about 4% and is the liability of the guest.

    The remaining 75% is due on arrival in CASH in EUROS

    Please note: If guest are departing your day of arrival check in time is at 4pm, however it is always possible to drop off luggage at 11am and return by 4pm (sometimes earlier) when the apartment will have been cleaned and prepared for you.

  • Full refund of the 25% deposit given if cancellations are made 30 days in advance of arrival. After 30 days, no refund. Prices will not be adjusted if a traveler drops out.

    A photocopy of the passport from the person who reserved and booked the apartment will be required on check in. The confirmation of the reservation will also be required.

A great base for a Barcelona trip

I don't think you could ask for a better location than this - in the heart of the Gothic quarter in the tiny historic streets. There are bars and restaurants everywhere and transport further afield is easy. Train from the airport with one change gets you to Estacio Franca - only 5 minutes walk away.

The flat was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. There was some street noise at night but it didn't bother me - if you stay in the heart of a city you don't come for tranquility.

All considered - hard to fault.

Great stay!
Location location location! Great place to stay. Loved the apartment and the area. So much to do. I felt very safe and the apartment was clean and as pictured.
Claire and Jordi were very professional and wonderful to work with. My husband and I are hoping to come back and stay a few more days in the future...
Great restaurants and and places in every nook and cranny. This area is so bohemian and artsy. Love it!!!!

Nice Large Apartment in the Centre of Barcelona

We stayed here with 5 people. The Apartment is large and offers enough luxery to enjoy a comfortble stay. It is spacious, has french baclonies all around and was clean and cool. (mid summer)
The fifth bed was realy bad, It urgenly needs a better matras.
The badroom was excelent , only a pitty there was only one Toilet which was also located within that badroom.

It is on the 3rd floor but after taking the stairs it feels like it is on the 6th floor, steep and narrow. The roof terras is excelent (only 2 stairs up) , but furniture on the terras needs attention!
Can advice the apartment if you want to stay in the very centre of Barcelona and don't mind climbing stairs.

This apartment is great! We spent 2 weeks in Barcelona and we had a wonderfull time. Me & my daughters loved the huge bathroom with 2 showers, the open kitchen and the comfortable sofa. The roof terrace is great at night after a hot summer day. In the neighborhood are good restaurants, famous museums and a market with delicious fresh food. We didn't need a car and walked to the beach in 15 minutes, we rent bicycles for sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay and we would rent the apartment again when we come back.
Thanks to Claire for the perfect organization.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
