Why Debi Hanson chose Fairbanks
We both had a lifelong dream of building a log home. When we found this property, we 'just knew' it was the perfect land to start the process of fulfilling our dream. The combination of the serene riverfront location, the surrounding boreal forest, wildlife, wild berries and flowers gives the feeling of being in a sacred, special place. We made the decision in 2006 to build additional cabins so that we could share our dream with others. We thoroughly enjoy the wide variety of guests that stay in the cabins. We love sharing information and stories about our Alaskan lifestyle and hearing about the lives and travels of our guests.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We stayed only 3 nights, but wish it could have been more. We came to Alaska to see the Northern Lights and we we lucky enough to seem them all 3 nights. Our cabin balcony was a great viewing area. What a beautiful part of the world you live in here. We leave with unforgettable memories of Alaska. Thank you for making us feel very welcome and taking the time to get to know us. We would love to see how wonderful it must look here in the winter, as we can't imagine the river freezing over!
