: Meribel Village
Car: not necessary
Our Chalets are situated in Meribel, right at the heart of the wonderful Three Valleys in the French Alps.
Chalets La Grange, Anastasia & La Mouette are situated in Chandon, a delightfully unspoilt village, built on the side of the valley which gets the sun from early morning to mid afternoon. It is just five minutes drive from Méribel town centre and yet could be worlds away, with listed barns, traditional bread oven and village chapel. A genuinely attractive, and more relaxing, alternative to the centre of Méribel.
The chalets are situated only metres from the free bus stop. The free bus journey takes just minutes to Meribel Chaudanne but if you prefer you can get off the bus at either Meribel Le Raffort or Meribel Village to start your days skiing. Alternatively there is car parking at the Chaudanne, Le Raffort & Meribel Village.
There is ample free parking within the village just yards from the chalet.
Other Activities: Snowboarding
Ski: Located in the central valley of the legendary Three Valleys, Méribel is the ideal base from which to explore. From idyllic tree-lined valleys beyond Courchevel 1650 to the East, to year-round snow on the glaciers of Val Thorens (the highest ski resort in Europe) to the West, it's all within easy reach.
Meribel is also unquestionably the prettiest of Three Valleys' resorts, for which it owes much to its founder, Peter Lindsay. When he began the resort's development with architect Christian Durupt, great pains were taken to ensure that new buildings retained the rustic savoyard charm of the region - an ethos that has been preserved to this day.
More Than Just Skiing ...
Although Méribel in winter is renowned for its skiing, there is a great deal on offer for those who are looking for a break from the slopes or something a bit different during the day, eg. mountain walking, swimming, fitness centre, ice rink, dog sledging, bowling, etc.
