Causeway Coast Country House is set in an idyllic location 3 miles outside Bushmills yet is within 10 minutes of the busy towns of Coleraine and Ballymoney. Close to the Causeway Coast it is not unusual to awaken to the sounds of wild pheasants calling as they stroll through the gardens or adjacent fields.

It was completed in 2010 and is designed purely with holidaymakers in mind with generous gardens, designer kitchen and utility room, 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room and sun room to sit and enjoy unspoiled views of the surrounding countryside. Step out the double doors from the sun room to a south facing 238 sq. ft patio to enjoy a barbecue, coffee or to just take in the peace and quiet.

After a days relaxing you can refresh in the main bathroom which contains a pressurised tower shower with 6 side jets before deciding which of the many local restaurants (which we can book in advance for you) to try.

We can also organise golf tee times and taxis on request.

We completely redecorated in 2014 and added all new pocket sprung mattresses for a relaxing nights sleep. Guests can also use our unlimited WiFi and new 32' flat screen smart TV for Netflix, Youtube and many more catch up TV.

Causeway Coast Country House is ideally located for Golfers with 6 championship golf courses within 10 minutes drive.

Firstly I would like to thank you and Sharon.You were both very helpful and made us feel very welcome.We were all very impressed with the house.The location was perfect for a relaxing break and perfectly situated to explore the north Antrim coast.It think it would be the perfect accomodation for tourists from outside Northern Ireland and the personal input from both you and Sharon would be invaluable.

From my experience of renting similar sized properties in the north Antrim area your property has been the best in respect of both facilities and value for money.

beautiful house in a perfect location

Our second visit in two months, and this return visit did not disappoint. House is in a perfect position as it is within easy driving distance of Bushmills, Portrush etc. while remaining secluded with excellent views over the countryside. The owner is close enough to deal with any queries but not intrusive. Very welcoming and friendly. The house is well equipped, comfortable, very clean, and - to top it all off - has working wifi, keeping teenagers happy.

The house comfortably allows two families to stay with the well-designed layout meaning there is always enough space. Genuinely a holiday gem!

Amazing cottage xx

This cottage is fantastic. Went here for the second time with all my family for the weekend. The cottage has everything you could ever need. We had a lovely week's family holiday

A spacious and comfortable house, ideally situated close to the beautiful Antrim coast for visiting Bushmills distillery, the Giant's causeway and Carrick-a -Rede bridge. All eight of us from 80 to 17 years old loved it, especially the sun room where we spent many happy hours, enjoying the sunsets and the lovely countryside. My dad, whose 80th birthday we were celebrating, has some difficulty walking but had no problems in the house. He was particularly delighted by the ground-floor ensuite bedroom which meant he didn't need to go upstairs. It was great having three bathrooms with such a big party. Plenty of towels were supplied and shampoo too. Darren and his mum were very friendly and helpful. Darren was only a phone call away and we loved being greeted with a big bag of freshly dug-up potatoes. Very unusual but welcome! We think that if you are looking to visit this beautiful part of Ireland, this is an ideal place to stay.

great week-end break

We (my husband and I and our dog)had a lovely time here a few weeks ago.The house is very clean,bright and airy with lovely countryside around.We enjoyed our stay,the beds were very comfortable and all rooms are good sizes.It was a trial run as we are looking for somewhere to bring my elderly mother but this would not be suitable.There are no hand rails at the front/back/patio doors or in the bathroom.The seating in the lounge and kitchen aren't suitable for any-one elderly or with a bad hip.Having said that Sharon and Darren were very friendly and helpful and we would come back on our own again.Very handy for beaches and shopping,a lovely home

The Causeway Coast area is world renowned for amazing natural beauty such as the breathtaking Giant's Causeway World Heritage site, Antrim Coastal drive and beaches. There are also man made treasures like Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge not forgetting the world's oldest licensed distillery in Bushmills. Golfers are also in their element with the famous Royal Portrush links a 10 minute drive away plus championship links courses including Rathmore, Portstewart (3 courses) and Ballycastle plus Gracehill, Bushfoot all within a short drive.

The North Coast plays host to many high profile events each year such as the world's fastest motorcycle race the North West 200, The Auld Lammas fair, N.I. International Airshow, The RNLI Raft Race and the N.I. Milk cup for junior footballers where David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and many other current internationals appeared.

The house is also ideally located for this years Irish Open Golf only 10 minutes away round the scenic Antrim Coast.

For those who enjoy a more leisurely pace there are many country walks,pubs, restaurants all near at hand.
