A perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing with sun, sea and pool. This old stone house has been renovated from top to bottom to create a designer house with attention and respect to detail that honours the traditional stone aesthetic while providing every modern convenience. The location is breathtaking, with views of the coast looking south from Zacharo as well as olive orchards, mountains and fields. This is the real Greece with luxury on top. The swimming pool is outstanding and just below the house down some neo-classical steps. The master bedroom has a free-standing bath and a 4 poster bed. The house has terraces on all sides and on all levels. The unspoilt beaches of this coast are 5 min down the hill in both directions. (There are 60km of undeveloped beaches in 1 stretch alone here).

Lovely house with a nice view over the water. Great pool next to the house, which was a little bit cold to get into... We spent a great couple of days here in the second half of October. It might have been our luck, but the weather was excellent with sun and temperatures in the high 20-ies.

We have just had an absolutely wonderful week here, three families with teenage children sharing the villa and additional two rooms in the guest house. The views are breathtaking with the pool set high above Zacharo. Charles and Ellie were very helpful and we loved the villa's facilities - all clean and well maintained. We would recommend the beach in Tholo - get there before ten to grab a parasol and enjoy very friendly cafe. I would also recommend this villa to family or friends and we would happily return ourselves!

This is a perfect place to stay for a holiday in Greece - I'd give it 5 out of 5 in every respect! The villa is in a beautiful spot overlooking mountains, olive groves and the sea. It was spotless on arrival, very well equipped and everything like the washing machine, air con etc all worked without a hitch. The pool is absolutely gorgeous - heaven after a hot afternoon and just staggering views. The villa is also brilliantly placed - blissfully peaceful on its own on the mountainside, yet only a few miles both from the nearest town where you can get all your supplies, and fantastic, unspoilt sandy beaches. Plus it's really close to great places like Olympia (half an hour's drive, if that - we actually cycled there!) and Pylos where there's an incredibly beautiful cove (voted among top 10 in the world!). The family who manage the property were the most helpful and friendly I've ever come across when renting a holiday place - they even lent us 2 bikes! In fact the only problem you'll have is tearing yourself away when it comes round to going home...

Great House, Great location, Great family

Stayed there for 1 week with 2 children (7 and 3). We had a fantastic time. House is very well designed for children. Breakfasts on the terrace are wonderful in the sunshine. House was tidy and very well maintained. The local family is very helpful. They responded to phone calls on Sunday evening. There are some good restaurants on the beach nearby where children can play. There is a lot to visit around of course. Coming back to the house after a hard day travelling around and enjoying the view from there is a bit like finding the Greek pantheon.
