Appartments in renovated stone farmhouse set in idyllic olive garden

My husband and I recently spent an enjoyable, restful week in this studio apartment 5 mins drive, or 30 minutes walk, away from Vence. The apartment is beautifully kept (the photos are very accurate), with a fully equipped kitchenette, VERY comfortable bed, TV and bathroom. Though it's attached to the owner's property, it feels perfectly private and you can sit outside in the garden at any time. The owners themselves (who have recently taken over the property) were incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. The location is probably best for those with cars, though we managed without one. Vence is only a 30 min walk away, although it is along a main road, which isn't much fun. In the day time, there is normally at least one bus an hour which takes you to the centre in only a few minutes and which is very cheap for only 1 Euro per journey. There's also a bus going the other direction which can take you to other interesting villages - Tourrettes-sur-loup for example and Grasse. Alternatively you can walk to Tourrettes ( a very pleasant walk) in about 1-1.5 hours. St-Paul-de-Vence is also about 1.5 hours walk away, but this is also along a road. Vence itself is a delightful town, with some excellent restaurants.

All in all, this is a lovely place to stay and is well located to spend time in Vence but also visit other very beautiful places. I definitely recommend it.
