Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Portland - WALK SCORE OF 97!!!
Wonderfully located-Close to everything!
This lovely vintage home is comprised of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 6 adults, and a couple of kids. This home is located just steps from the best that Northwest Portland has to offer. The home has a walkscore of 97!--dubbed a 'walker's paradise.' Although you don't need a car, you can park one car in our driveway. The closest grocery store is Trader Joes, and there are 115 restaurants within a 15 minute walk, and nearby parks include Couch Park, Wallace Park, Northwest Raleigh Street, and Campbell Fountain Our home is in the center of the very popular and desirable NW 23rd and 21st Avenues, also known as 'Nob Hill' or the 'Historic Alphabet' district. Walk to Salt and Straw Ice Cream (ONE BLOCK), the Timbers game (less than a mile), and a few blocks from Papa Hayden Restaurant--Close to the Good Sumaritan hospital, this area has an eclectic flair, mixing high-fashion and decor with a touch of old-world class. The Nob Hill shopping district is home to the best Europen pastires, northwest coffees, Oregon Micro-brews, fine art, jewelry, pubs, spas, galleries, and rare antiques-- all just steps from this perfectly located home. Even Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, amazing food and desserts at Papa Hayden and Trader Joe's Grocery store are just steps away from my home. In the summer, enjoy the Nob Hill Farmer's Market, right around the corner, and the Summer Concert Series (also right around the corner), at Wallace Park on Thursdays in the summer. Getting to Pearl is just a quick 10 minute walk, or 7 minutes by public transit. The Portland Timbers stadium is walkable too (only 3/4 mile), and you can get to the Zoo, OMSI, and the museum in 15 minutes from here by car, or 25 minutes by transit. Airport, 15 minutes by car, or 30 minutes by public transport and train station is less than 2 miles away. This location is unbeatable! Also, for concerts-- The MODA center, and the Convention center are walkable, easy cab, or public transit. I am serious when I say this location is UNBEATABLE!!!!!

I am a mother of three great kids, and used to be a former financial consultant before becoming a full time mom. I love people, and I love working with people. Having this VRBO has allowed me to have a business on the side which doesn't take away any time from my mohtering duties. I grew up in New Mexico, attended school in San Diego, CA, where I obtained a Business Degree, with a focus on Hotel/Restaurant Mangement. I then spent 10 years of my life in Sonoma, CA, where my kids were born, then we moved to the rugged and beautiful coast of Oregon. Having this VRBO allows me to use my Hospitality skills; which is really fun. I love feedback, and I hope that if you decide to stay at the home, that you will like it and come back! I have met so many nice people through VRBO. All my guests are so interesting, amazing-- AND NICE!!!
Lisa purchased this house in 2013
Why Lisa chose Portland
We live on the Coast of Oregon and we purchased this property because we love the house, and the neighborhood. Ideally, we will move to this home permanently, when our kids get older. This location is perfect, because you can walk to the most popular bars and restaurants and cafes. I love the shopping and the culture of this area. This area of Portland has a very European styled transport system; you can get anywhere by foot or transit; very easily. We want your stay to be as special for you as it is for us! Our goal is to have you come back again and again and refer your friends.
What makes this house unique
Perfect location! I love walking to everything from this home, and the ability for me to enjoy the wonderful city of Portland without ever having to drive! This location is just perfect! And the views from the home are very peaceful and calming. Dining out on the back deck is super entertaining and private, and I enjoy the 'art of people watching' from my front deck!
