2 en-suite bedrooms high quality apartment

Harvest Mill dates from around 1750 but the mill wheel stopped turning before the First World War. Its 3 floors were completely renovated in 1999 and occupying the ground floor is The Granary. (we live on the other 2 floors)

Access from the parking area on the drive is via your own front door into a completely self contained apartment. Here old meets new, the contemporary décor & furniture sits well with the beautiful old stone. Underfloor heating throughout the apartment ensures unobtrusive warmth at any time of year. Relax in the leather stress less recliners and let your holiday begin. Both the double & twin bedroom are en-suite and there is an outdoor seating area for your personal use for BBQ or just a glass of wine.

This 5 star property is situated opposite the old miners track leading to the beach at Wiseman's Bridge, once the route of the Saundersfoot Railway this has now been resurfaced and provides a wonderful & safe path suited to cycles & buggies too.

Fantastic gem of a place

The Granary is absolutely fabulous. It's location is fantastic only 15 minutes walk to the beach and the lovely pub at the beach. Simon and Amanda who run the Granary could not be more helpful. We had a great time our little boys first holiday was memorable and the dog was exhausted after all the walking. To top it off the weather was fantastic will definitely return

After you’ve parked your car on the drive you may just decide to take a leisurely 15 minute stroll or a cycle along the old railway track to the beach & pub at Wiseman’s Bridge. Hard to imagine as you follow the well surfaced path through trees along the side of the river that in years gone by the little steam engines would have hauled coal along the same route. Instead of heading left at the beach toward the Pub bear right along the back of the beach and through the three old railway tunnels into Saundersfoot. The walled town of Tenby is about 5 miles west, if you have the stamina a beautiful walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and perhaps a bus home. There’s plenty to do – just a short drive and you could be standing in the dungeon of an ancient castle, aboard a boat for a trip along the coast to see the seals or Puffins or maybe riding the roller coaster. There’s also plenty of peace and if you know where to look a quiet beach can be found even at the height of the season!

Full underfloor central heating keeps The Granary cosy all year. We own the adjacent Mill House Caravan Park and guests have the use of the laundry & children's play area. There is a small garden area for sole use of The Granary to one side of the property - we welcome children but due to the nature of the Mill young children will need supervising when in the garden area.
