Air conditioned villa for 10 persons near beautiful beaches.

Villa Mar, a comfortable 4 bedroomed villa all with hot and cold air conditioning, all you could want for a fantastic holiday by the sea without breaking the bank.

The bright dining room has a dining table and 10 chairs, it is a cool space to eat inside.

Next you come to a spacious living room with 3 sofas with throws and cushions. There is TV with sat dish and DVD player..The galley style kitchen is off the living room where there is everything you will need for your families eating needs. Full size cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, washing machine and plenty of cooking utensils. The 4 bedrooms all have comfortable beds. There are 2 spacious double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds.and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. All have lots of storage, bedside tables and lights.

1 Beautiful tiled bathroom with bath and shower and 1 Shower room.

The lovely garden has everything for lounging by the pool, bar-b-queing and eating al fresco

Well behaved dogs most welcome

As the property is all on one level, it is very child friendly and there are slopes up to the path and swimming pool, There is plenty of off street parking for cars, caravans and trailers

DOGS: Well behaved dogs are most welcome at Villa Mar for a small weekly charge (20E) The garden is very secure and we can supply a plastic bed for the dog , but please fetch his or her own special blanket. We also supply poo bags for your use.

ATTRACTIONS: The villa is only about a 40 minute drive to Puerta Aventura theme park, great for the kids and adults alike.. La Pineda water park is a similar distance and fun for all the family. If you want to visit Barcelona, Tarragona or even Valencia and would prefer not to drive, from the local town of L´Ametlla de mar, you can take the train and unlike the UK, the trains are cheap, clean and invariably on time.

There is a market in L¨Ametlla on a Monday and Thursday, with a variety of goods for sale.

This villa is situated in the lovely urbanization of Las Tres Calas (the three coves) which is a few minutes drive from the authentic fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar. Here you can shop for all you will need or relax and watch the boats go by with a beer and a plate of the freshest seafood.

Very close to the villa is a lovely new children play area and also a small range of shops and bars and restaurants.

If you fancy a change from lazing by your own pool then the beautiful coves of Tres Calas are a short hop in the car. If you want great long stretches of golden sand and all the activities that go with a bigger resort then Hospitalet de L'Enfant is a 15 minute drive away.

The world famous Port aventura theme park is about half an hour away when you really need to go for the full holiday adrenaline rush!

Tarragona and its medieval old city is also about half an hour.

Stay at our villa if you want holiday that just has everything and all for a fantastic price!

Me and my friends came here in July 2012 for a one week stay. beforehand we were emailed helpful directions (and ones so we didn't have to pay for toll roads) as well as the owners phone numbers for any questions or problems.
when we arrived we had everything we might possibly need, towels (both normal and beach towels!) as well as an information pack AND a kitchen welcome pack with food for the first few meals. Everything provided was thoughtful and in good condition.
One thing we were really grateful for was the air conditioning... definitely needed in the spanish summer!
Owners: Helpful and pleasant.
Beds: comfortable with plenty of pillows
Villa: Clean and cool
Location: A car is definitely needed, but it is only a very short drive (or a good walk) to the closest shop, and ONLY 30mins to Port Aventura and Reus Airport

But, before you jump into the pool as soon as you arrive, be warned that it is very deep (shallow end must be around 1.5 metres) Children would probably need to be supervised.

All in all, would definitely recommend to others!
Owner's Response: We understand that the pool is a little deeper at the shallow end than normal, but we do state in the information pack, that regardless of the pool depth, children should never be left unattended.

I booked this villa for myself, daughter & family and found the villa to be very child friendly, in a great location. When we did not want to use the car, the bus into town stopped at the end of the road. We hope to come again next year, hopefully for 2 weeks.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

my family and I had a lovely holiday in this villa. It was clean and bright. The pool was good and there were good facilities nearby. Lovely beaches too, very safe for the children. Best of all it was all at a reasonable cost.

we had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at this well appointed villa. The pool was a great success with the teenagers and the beaches are unspoilt and easily accessible. Thank you!
