Fully furnished and equipped 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2560 sq. ft. single family home in Rio Verde Country Club, an active adult community for persons 55 and older. While suited to the 55 and older set, children are welcomed and may stay in the home as guests.
Entry And Foyer
A beautifully landscaped front entry with LED lighting and a 9x9 indoor/outdoor atrium welcome you as you enter the home. The atrium boasts an LED lit fountain, many beautiful desert plants, and a large ficus tree that brings the outdoors into the home, so you can relax to the sound of the fountain and enjoy the peace and beauty of the atrium.
Living Room Highlights
The living room has rough hewn beams and a high ceiling with clerestory windows above the beams to bring in the beautiful Arizona sunshine. Brand new nail head leather sofa, loveseat, and two comfy recliners provide comfort, and room for entertaining. Also, a wood burning fireplace, and 60 inch HD flat screen LED TV with upgraded HD cable for recording programs and pausing live TV, Cox premium channels and Movie Pak are included. Blu-ray player and upgraded sound system with sub woofer also in living room. Sliding glass doors with plantation shutters offer easy access off this room to the huge covered patio with mountain views from inside and out.
Adjacent to the cozy living room is a beautiful solid rosewood dining table that seats 6, with an adjacent built-in wet bar for entertaining. While there is soft carpet in the living room and bedrooms, the dining room, and all other areas have authentic Mexican Saltillo tile floors that add character and Southwest style to the home.
We offer a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including electric stove and oven, dishwasher, trash compacter, disposal, and microwave. Toaster oven, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle are also there for your convenience. There are dishes, glassware, and flatware with service for 8+. Newly installed granite counter tops and 5 bar stools around the kitchen peninsula make it a great place for gathering with friends and whipping up breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There is also an open plan adjacent kitchen dining area with table seating for four. You can relax and enjoy the view of the atrium with the huge glass wall showcasing the fountain and plants giving the kitchen area a unique Spanish garden feel on one side,and sliding glass doors in the kitchen dining area for access to the large covered patio, and a pass-thru bar/window from the kitchen to the patio for convenient outdoor dining.
Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with high efficiency washer and dryer, and iron and ironing board, as well as a utility sink and plenty of storage. The laundry room leads to the 2 car garage with automatic openers.
Master Bedroom And Bath
The master bedroom features a new king size pillow top mattress. This bedroom has new dark wood king furnishings with two night stands with lamps and alarm clock, and matching dresser and mirror and a new 42” flat screen LED HDTV on the wall for convenient viewing from the bed. Sliding glass doors and side bay windows with plantation shutters give access to the large rear patio and yard and make this a light and airy room that can be completely darkened by closing the shutters allowing you to comfortably sleep in during our sunny mornings. The master suite includes a large master bath with double sinks with hand painted Mexican tile throughout and a walk-in shower, as well as an over sized jetted garden tub beneath a large picture window with outdoor plantings and privacy wall to make your bathing experience enjoyable and private. The master suite also includes a large walk in closet off the bath and a door situated such that you can close the entire area off from the rest of the house. This home features a split floor plan that has the master bedroom on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms and baths for privacy and peace making it ideal for traveling with other couples.
Guest Bedroom 1
This bedroom is situated on the opposite side of the home from the master suite, and features plush carpeting a new cherry queen sleigh bed bedroom suite with new pillow top mattress, matching chest of drawers with mirror, and two nightstands with lamps and alarm clock. There is a large closet,and plantation shutters on East facing windows for a warm comfy feel. The full bath with tub and shower is just a step outside the door of this room.
Guest Bedroom 2
This carpeted bedroom is situated just a few steps down the hall from the other guest bedroom and features 2 twin beds, a nightstand, dresser and bay windows with plantation shutters. There is also a large closet with extra shelving and storage.
Both the guest bedrooms and 2nd bath and half bath can be shut off for privacy from the rest of the home for ideal conditions for a multifamily vacation. The full guest bath with tub/shower is just steps down the hall from this bedroom.

The 2nd bath and half bath are located just steps from both guest bedrooms.
The second full bath is just a step outside the queen bedroom door and has a tub/shower combination with hand painted Mexican tile surround, clear glass shower enclosure, toilet, authentic Mexican Saltillo tile floors, and separate sink and vanity area with hand painted Mexican tiles and sink. There is a half bath down the hall a few steps from the twin bedroom and just off the foyer/entry with toilet and hand painted sink and cabinet and mirror.
All linens and towels included, cleaning service available for longer stays for a fee.
The home sits on a large well maintained lot with citrus trees and cactus and assorted professional desert landscaping. The rear of the home has a large covered and uncovered tiled patio area with a large wood burning fire pit for companionable evenings around the fire and under the starry desert night sky. The patio area combines privacy with stunning mountain views and golden hued sunsets while relaxing after a day of golf, bicycling, or hiking. It also features a new tile top outdoor dining table that seats six, and a new propane gas grill for outdoor cooking. The patio runs the length of the rear of the home with access from the living room, the kitchen dining area, and the master bedroom. It is well suited for dining al fresco with the pass through bar off the kitchen.

My husband and I bought this home with a plan to move there to enjoy our retirement when the time comes in a few years. We moved to Phoenix in 1995 and have lived just outside of Fountain Hills since 1998, so we are close by to offer any assistance you may require.
We purchased this home at the end of Nov.,2012, and have had great fun updating it and furnishing it with new furnishings inside and out! It is our aim to make it an enjoyable,comfortable, upscale Southwest getaway for all who wish to enjoy golf and the many delights of Arizona and the Sonoran desert.

We fell in love with the community, the location, the wildlife, the views, all the things that make Rio Verde so special. We also felt a greater sense of privacy here for outdoor dining and relaxing, being located just off the golf course without giving up our fabulous mountain and sunset views.
This home has a unique cozy character of the desert southwest with the open beam ceilings,the fireplace, the Mexican tile floors and lovely plantation shutters throughout. The views of the mountains and the beauty of the Sonoran desert make this home one of my favorite places to spend time. I particularly enjoy the unique botanical atrium that adds a special feel to the charm of this home. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac but just steps from the golf course make it a perfect private vacation retreat.
In Rio Verde you can enjoy golf on one of five local championship courses including Vista Verde’s new 18 hole course, Tonto Verde’s two championship courses, and through a Golf Package at two newly-renovated courses at Rio Verde Country Club. Many other world famous golf facilities are nearby including Troon, We-Ko-Pa, TPC Scottsdale, DC Ranch, and Greyhawk.
Situated in the high Sonoran desert just east of Scottsdale, and 8 miles North of Fountain Hills. Your stay includes use of the community center with heated swimming pool, hot tub, state of the art fitness center, pickle ball and tennis courts, library, and optional yoga and fitness classes, with personal trainers available for addt'l fees. We have a wonderful restaurant and pub at the club and if you don’t feel like cooking or dining out we recommend picking up a tasty wood fired gourmet pizza at the pub just a few short blocks from the home. Golf carts are available for rental at the golf shop. Golf packages can be purchased there as well as an endless choice of activities here to keep you and your family entertained throughout your stay.There is an equestrian center nearby for horseback riding, miles of scenic desert hiking and mountain biking in the adjacent McDowell Mountain Park just a few minutes walking distance from this home. There are two bicycles available for use in the 2 car attached garage.
Grocery stores, pharmacy, and shopping is a 10-15 minute drive away in scenic Fountain Hills. Scottsdale is just a 25 minute drive and Phoenix Sky Harbor is 40 minutes away.The Grand Canyon is about a 4 1/2 hr drive and Sedona is approx. 2 1/2 hrs away. Rio Verde is a great central location for many interesting day trips to explore the history and beauty of Arizona.
