El Mirador de la Habana is an Andalusian house located in the heart of Lecrín Valley in Granada. Albuñuelas is a village surrounded by orange, lemon and almond trees. Its privileged location allows you to be less than 35 minutes from the beach and the centre of Granada and is also close to the Alpujarras and the skiing lopes of the Sierra Nevada.
Located in this strategic spot, El Mirador de La Habana is an ideal starting point in Andalusia to explore all corners of the region within a few minutes reach, beach, mountain, golf and city.
This is a home catering for 4 people (also available for two) and fully equipped, it is located in the traditional quarter of Habana in Albuñuelas on a lookout over the gorge where you can hear the water of the river Santo flowing as you contemplate the Sierra Nevada from the viewpoint or from our beautiful terrace.
In this region of Andalusia, south of Granada, which the Moors called the Valley of Joy, you'll find yourself surrounded by orange and lemon trees, almond trees, cacti and olive trees as you travel through whitewashed villages steeped in history and rich in culture and countryside.
Stroll through Saleres, Acequias and Conchar, enjoy the views on the lake Béznar from Pinos del Valle, Béznar and Chite, you can visit restored olive oil old mills in acequias and nigüelas and in the whole area you will find remains of moorish castles whitewashed farmhouses, ancient moorish water irrigation channels, moorish water tanks, rivers and gorges through beautiful countryside where there is the constant sound of flowing water.
If you visit in spring you can see almond and orange blossom and smell the perfume of orange blossom while you contemplate the white peaks of Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Also, in the valley you can do everything possible that comes to mind, quiet walks through the villages , go skiing in the sierra nevada ski resort, golf at santa clara, routes through the alpujarras, gastronomic and oenological tourism, and since it is midway between the capital and the coast, you can spend a pleasant morning on the beach and then go to visit the alhambra or have a tapas evening in Granada.
It is also a perfect area for walking trails at all levels and if you like adventure tourism will not be lacking options for mountain biking, quad, horse riding, canoeing, climbing, etc.
And if you need a session of relaxation, the spa of Lanjaron is half an hour.
