La Maison Calme, built of traditional stone and render, is a charming quietly located house situated on the banks of the river Riou near the picturesque village of Bargemon.

The recent careful refurbishment brings a modern convenient style to its existing charm. The house offers three bedrooms and two baths and sleeps 6. It has a spacious living room and modern kitchen. The house consists of 150m2 in three levels and is situated on 3400m2 land.

The outdoor space with the lovely pool 4 x 7 m with the wooden deck around it and the different terraces with the BBQ and shady areas, offers the possibility of the outdoor living known to Southern France.

Across the river valley can be seen the beautiful village of Bargemon with its bustling shops and market and its nine restaurants make it a gastronomic delight.

Bargemon is situated 500 metres above sea level, and is one of the prettiest villages in the area. Life revolves around the ‘Place’ where, if you sit with your coffee or wine, you will get a feel of life in Provence. Bargemon has shops for all everyday needs; It has a weekly market with flowers and vegetables and fruit.

Bargemon has a number of restaurants from the high end and to more typical local.

The nearest town is Draguignan where a bustling and attractive market is held. Fishing and boating at Lac de St. Cassien (28km), riding, windsurfing and hang-gliding are all within easy reach, as is magnificent walking country. For the really energetic, a Grande Randonee along the base of the Gorge du Verdon (Europe's largest) or, for those not so energetic, a drive along its spectacular rim is highly recommended. St Tropez and the Mediterranean, as well as local golf courses including an excellent championship course at La Motte (15km) are all within 1 hour’s drive.
