Xaghra village is poised on one of the 3 hills of Gozo.
It is 1 of the main tourist areas in Gozo as it has a lot of rich historical heritage to offer.
The Megalitic Ggantija Temples dating back to 3500 B.C are 20 mins away.
The Calpyso cave from mythology overlook Gozo's finest red sand beach; Ramla Bay.
There is the Museum of Toys displaying objects dating back as far as the 18th century (the Maltese doll).
Ta' Kola Windmill is the old grinding windmill built in 1725. It is so called after its miller, Kola, and was recently restored and is now functioning.
The pompous village Festa dedicated to the Bambina (baby Madonna) is extremely popular amongst the locals. The spectacular fireworks are very well renowned and are a thing to be remembered!
