This stylish one double-bed apartment is in the heart of bustling Fitzrovia, part of London’s central West End theatre district. The LOCATION makes this apartment truly special. Ideally located within easy walking distance to all the major attractions - including Oxford Street and Covent Garden, theatre-land, cinemas, Soho bars and clubs and Chinatown.

The apartment is quiet, secure and private, set within a beautiful period building and with original features. A second floor walk-up (no elevator), it is fully equipped and furnished. The bedroom has a double bed, flat screen TV and fitted wardrobes. The living room has an L shaped sofa and dining area. The small, fully equipped kitchenette includes washing machine, hob, combination oven and large fridge-freezer. The bathroom has a tub with shower over.

Cable TV (Freeview), international landline calls and wireless broadband are all included free in the rental price.

The location is fantastic - right in the heart of the west end of London, with masses of both fine dining restaurants and local eateries right on your doorstep. The theatre district, main shopping district and famous resturants are all within easy walking distance. The neighbourhood is a bustling, vibrant area, with 'real' Londoners - not just tourists.

Inside the apartment, the living room, bedroom and bathroom are each off a central hallway. The kitchenette is off the living room. The apartment is very quiet and private - it is not overlooked and you will not hear any traffic or other noise from the street.

A welcome pack is provided with soap, shower gel, coffee, tea, snacks, oil, vinegar, cleaning and clothes washing liquid.. There are adapter plugs for overseas electrical equipment; a hair dryer is provided. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking at home, including a coffee maker. Tea coffee, basic spices, oil, vinegar etc are provided. Towels and bed linen are provided and all this is included in the price.

Comfortable, clean, fantastic location!

My wife and I stayed here over Thanksgiving holiday and everything about our experience was positive. We would definitely stay here again. Overall it’s a comfortable, clean, no-nonsense flat in a fantastic location.

Samantha’s partner Richard was outside the flat to meet us when we arrived and graciously showed us the flat, explained how various things worked and so on. The flat itself is somewhat small (welcome to London, folks!) but not uncomfortably so and has ample room for two. The bed and linens were comfortable as was as the L shaped sofa for hanging out and recalling our day before turning in. The kitchenette is incredibly well-stocked with pots, pans, hob, kettle, fridge, etc. There was even tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper and various spices to use. The flat had plenty of hot water and has heaters in every room (other than the bathroom, which is typical) so it was very comfortable in those regards. It’s also on the quiet side of the building (non-street) so sleeping is very restful. It’s worth mentioning the impeccable cleanliness of this flat. You can tell it’s well-cared for and that the owners take the time to make sure it’s clean and comfortable for their guests.

The location is fantastic and, apart from the blissfully clean and comfortable experience of the flat, this is one of the best features. It’s a very short walk to the Tube (Goodge St, Tottenham Court and Oxford Circus) so you have access to three different lines. It’s also a pleasant walk to many central London sites, just a mile or so, which will help work off all that ale from the hundreds (Thousands? Millions?) of pubs surrounding the area. Oxford Street with all the shops is close as well and all the fabulous restaurants in Soho and Chinatown. The nearby Tesco was perfect for basic things like eggs, bread, milk, snacks and other sundry items. There’s a Boots nearby as well, both stores are on the way home from the Goodge St. Tube stop.

We couldn’t have been happier with this property and the experience we had from the initial contact to leaving the key and (regrettably) heading home. Thanks so much Samantha!

Ideal location in Central London

I feel so fortunate to have been able to book Samantha's flat for my month-long stay in London. I was enrolled in a course a 5-minute walk away, but with four different tube stations within easy walking distance and lots within the immediate vicinity, the location would be ideal under any circumstance. The flat was my oasis. It was clean, quiet, and had all the amenities essential to a comfortable stay. Samantha is a great host. Shortly after I arrived, she called to make sure I had everything I needed and was quick to provide the extra hangers and outlet converters requested. My only reluctance in writing this review is that it may decrease the chance that this stellar property will be available the next time I want to book it. If you have the opportunity to book a stay here, you should.

Outstanding in all respects

The flat is exactly as described. Generously sized for two; clean and easy to keep clean; fully equipped (and everything that we used, worked): and convenient extras such as lots of outlet adapters and a full supply of tea, coffee and bathroom essentials. It was also very quiet despite the cocktail bar in the basement of the building, and the electric heaters made control of the heat easy and quick.

Dealing with the owner was easy and business-like, and we had a check-up call in the week to make sure that all was OK.

Location is excellent. A very short walk to bus or Tube, but most of the West End is within 15-20 minutes on foot. It is a busy neighborhood and never felt remotely unsafe. As for the immediate vicinity, there is an amazing choice of moderately priced (for London) restaurants on Charlotte Street, the pub across the road has good food, and Nonno Lino, a few doors to the right on Goodge Street, provided bacon rolls for breakfast. Tesco Metro on Goodge Street and Little Waitrose on Tottenham Court Road supply any self-catering needs.

Great Flat, and Location has it All

Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Great, great, great location. Quick walk to the Goodge St Station, Theater district, Soho and a wonderful neighborhood with lots of friendly Pubs (we particularly liked the Fitzrovia and Newman Arms). Samantha's Flat is clean with the right amount of space, and perfect for a couple. We had breakfast in most days (grocery is on the way back from the Underground), and stocked the fridge with snacks, even made dinner in a couple nights (Courtesy of a trip to Covent Gardens food fest on Thursdays). Skip the B&B's and relax and be part of the neighborhood.

All the reviews here are true...treat yourself to a great stay in a truely great flat! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Samantha...we're passing your info along to friends! :)

The perfect location for a perfect London stay

Samantha's flat was the perfect choice for my London visit: very centrally located, safe and secure, and comfortable. She greeted me at the flat and remained on-hand, but never intrusive, during my stay to answer any questions. She even emailed restaurant suggestions after meeting me and learning about my food and neighborhood preferences. If you're looking for a comfortable, centrally-located flat, this is the one for you!

An Absolutely Wonderful Stay

My Girlfriend, Heather, and I had the extreme pleasure of staying in the flat for a week this past May. As our first trip to London, the stay in Samantha's flat was everything we could have hoped for -- the location is central to the tube and is walkable to great dining and pubs (don't miss the nearby Newman Arms). Samantha was an excellent communicator before and during our trip and the apartment had all the right amenities that made you feel like you were at home.

Now that I'm home, I catch myself missing it from time to time - it really was that great. In short, I can't recommend it enough!
